Stay tuned: BlackBerry 10 launch

RIM's latest devices may not have been particularly hot, but all of this is soon going to change! At least, that's what the company wants us to believe now that we're counting the days until the official BlackBerry 10 presentation...

The design is just beautiful. I really really hope the battery will last longer.

Hopefully they will announce they will close the doors! This will be another failed product.

Pathetic not every thing has to run android to be a success and I would hate to see this company do so I prefer that there should be as much compitition as possible I want each company let alone os to actually fight for my money

BB10 runs on top of QNX. It is a unix type of OS. The difference between Android and BB10 is that Android runs the OS as a single process. QNX runs the os at the core and the applications as processes. So if a process acts up, it just turns it off. You may not need a quad core processor for it to work smoothly. As for chosing this OS, the os runs military tanks and medical equipment. They didn't just pick something off the shelf. With that said, BB10 looks cool, looks fresh and may soon over run Windows. It will take a long time if ever to catch Android or IOS. If they want to compete, they need to have apps, eco-system and battery life to make it. Well, two more days and we shall see if they show us something we don't seem to know already.

Incredibly well said. RIM has a platform with a ton of potential, it will take time to see if they are capable of fully realizing it.

the ecosystem is at good start, 70,000 and more..apps is not that a big problem coz devs of iOS and android wont have a problem to port it on BB10, Batter life isnt a problem too, even old BB is know for battery efficiency, but this is a different OS so its a complete different story, so we'll still see what its gonna be!

Also, the Lumia did not price itself at a quad core price. From the outset they were at $100 with a free charging mat.

Some of us were talking about BB10 today. Ppl are actually excited about it. One was a iPhone user.... They said BB is their first love....and they may be switching back. I really think BB has a hit on their hands. I know when I first saw the Playbook...many of us were wondering when that OS was gonna make it to phones. Like when many saw Honeycomb for the first time...many wondered when it was coming to phones. It came in the form of ICS...and its the best version of Android to date. I have a feeling BB10 will be the same thing. I dont know why the earlier QNX based version didnt take off. But this looks even better.

honeycomb is a complete flop! but the playbook is a complete flop as well BUT it just flop coz of the pricing! i think if RIM price it on a competitive price like $250 it will be a hit and im pretty sure RIM wont be really on big trouble...

You know, all of these other fanboys are showing how uneducated and stupid they really are. I have Android, but I'm not bashing BB10 or the specs. You don't know if it is going to succeed or not, so shut the heck up and see first. Oh and learn to spell before you go bashing others. I can tell a lot of you are from overseas by your grammar.

It's a new start for blackberry and I'm a blackberry user for 2 years now. I hate my bold 9780 but this new blackberry is something else. Not just a new way to interact with out phone but also the smoothness of the OS. If this thing come at a budget price, I'll definetly buy it ;)
