A new update has started rolling out for Samsung
Galaxy S8 and
Galaxy S8+ owners that purchased their device from Sprint. The patch belatedly introduces the Android security update for the month of June, as well as fixes to the "Find My Mobile" service, an LTE Roaming issue and an SMS related bug.
The updates for the two devices weigh in at around 270MB. The software upgrade should bump the
Galaxy S8 build number to
G950USQU1AQFJ, while S8+ owners should be at
G955USQU1AQFJ after installing.
The update is available OTA, but it might need some time to reach all compatible devices. You can check for it manually by going to Settings > About phone> System Updates. As always, make sure that your phone is sufficiently charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding with the patch.
