Sprint has announced that it's preparing a launch for RIM's Blackberry 8703e, which was made available for Verizon a few days ago. It's a CDMA device with EV-DO support featuring QVGA display, a full QWERTY keyboard, Blackberry push email and Bluetooth 2.0 functionality. Sprint's 8703e can be used as a tethered modem while it also has GPS capabilities to deliver support for location-based services.
Sprint's launch of the Blackberry 8703e is scheduled for October 1 and it will be available at a price of $349.99 with a two-year contract.
