The FCC pages revealed new phone from Motorola in the entry-level segment the VI-C290 clamshell phone. The manual and the external images of the phone from the FCC documents show it with Sprint PCS branding on it. Still there is not official announcement of the device but it seems to be an entry-level phone. It is in clamshell form-factor and features only one internal display and no external one for Caller ID. The phone features just simple organizer and phonebook capabilities, which is normal for a low-end device. The VI-C290 operates in CDMA 800/1900 and AMPS 800 MHz networks.
