It depends on what you do with the phone. I have a bionic droid x and an iPhone 4. I get about the same battery life if I take live wallpaper off and cut back on widgets. The bionic is a little worse with the LTE. But I get a good day out of each (10 hour work day plus travel and some home use) befor. Need to charge. I get better stand by time with the apple because I think I have my androids doing to much in the background so it's my fault. But I am guessing that either that person is an apple only or had an older android. Because as a person with both I really don't notice much difference. If you use any smartphone real heavy it will drain the battery fast.
