Sony's selfie phone gets certified in China
The Sony Xperia C3 , nicknamed the "selfie phone" thanks to its front-facing, wide-angle 5MP camera, has been certified in China by TENNA. The latter is China's equivalent to the FCC, and the version of the Xperia C3 that met with the agency contained dual SIM slots, and is made for China Mobile's 4G LTE network. The world's largest carrier is expected to sell the phone for 1999 yuan ($322).
The Sony Xperia C3 is a mid-range handset with a 5.5 inch screen offering resolution of 720 X 1280. That works out to a pixel density of 267ppi. A quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU is under the hood, while the Adreno 305 GPU handles graphics. 1GB of RAM is inside, and there is 8GB of native storage on board. If you need more memory, a 32GB microSD slot is available. Besides the 5MP camera upfront, there is an 8MP camera on back. A 2500mAh battery powers the phone, and Android 4.4 is pre-installed.
