Sony gathers all of its recently announced handsets for a media preview at CommunicAsia 2012
We were waiting for an announcement from Sony today, and here it is, straight from a side event the company is holding at CommunicAsia 2012 - the expo where it usually unveils new stuff.

It's just that this year there is nothing new, since the company announced a barrage of new handsets already in the last month or so, and has gathered all six of them for the world to see for the first time.

These include the global edition of Sony Xperia ion, the rugged Xperia go, the Xperia acro S, the recently announced Xperia miro and tipo, and the Xperia neo L. They will be soon on sale (Sony promises Q3), but what we are really waiting for is the global version of the Xperia GX, or that elusive Mint I handset to break the news.

All Sony devices looks great. No wonder if this year they will become second best android manufacturer by volume. Just avoid some Sony compromises like no quadcore , no expandable memory in xperia U which kills the best affordable dualcore droid, always late in updates.

The device design looks great. Very good build quality. Moreover Sony is actively supporting most of its Android device. A job well done. However i'm tired seeing the same damn wallpaper in all Android devices. Please come up with a different background look. Differentiate a little from your own device.

No Xperia GX and SX at CommunicAsia 2012?! Disappointing! Moreover, Xperia Ion which was unveiled way back in Jan is hitting the stores NOW?! Sony is digging its own grave! :|
