Sony Ericsson shows off their XPERIA X10 with a video
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, which we previewed last December, will be the manufactures first Android device, and as you would expect it has a lot of people interested. As we await for an official release, Sony Ericsson has posted their own unboxing video of their first X10 commercial samples. Features are as high-end as one could hope for, with a massive 4" 480x854 resolution touchscreen display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8.1MP autofocus camera with flash, facial recognition and image stabilizer, 1GB of internal memory with an 8GB microSDHC card included, and a 3.5mm headset jack. The unique UX interface that is integrated into the Android 1.6 OS offers proper integration of Facebook and Twitter as well as some other online services like Flickr and Picasa. Hopefully the XPERIA X10 will be released before too long.

Xperia's are like bank robberies, You hear about one once a week, it costs a ton of money, and you cant get our hands on one. I swear Sony just releases a phone with everything on it just so it can be done, but seriously how many posters here have ever seen one of these being used in real life? If you comment that you have your a douche... P.S. its a little rediculous with a 1gb on board and Snapdragon to be running 1.6 OS, what the hell is that? sony better look at 2.1 before they poop this out so the one person who buys it will atleast keep it.

it's suppose to come to ATT for only $199 with 2yr and is upgradeable to 2.1 like any other android device. This is the phone to be anticipating and i'm getting it a month after the realease. ( i never get any device when launch i wait til the bugs are work off lol)

maybe we'll get lucky and it will hop over to Tmobile as well. It is a monster of a phone with better specs than the nexus.. exept for OS version. Of course, every customized Android OS is running an older version of Android for now. It would be nice of Google to say "every phone launched after XXX has to be on 2.1" so they kill all this staggering.. but i digress.

looking at that phone... i just had an orgasm. It looks so thinnn. only downfall i see is AT&T!@#$%^ WHYYYY does it have to go to the worst carrier. I'd even be happier with it on helio. and theyre gone. hoping it finds a better home ;(

ATT is not the worst carrier it went to ATT b/c it was the only one that was FCC approved that was compatible with the xperia x10 specs.

Taiwan has this bad boy in pre-order next week.... We, in the US, may be able to see some of these X10 on amazon or such sites for $800+ Q_Q
