Sony Ericsson announces partnership with Google

Sony Ericsson announced that they have worked together with Google on the development of mobile phones, equipped with Google's Blogger and Web Search features. The first Sony Ericsson handsets to support these features are the UMTS phone K610, announced at the 3GSM and the two high-end K800 and K790, which have been unveiled today and are expected to be commercially available during Q2 2006.

All of these devices feature integrated icons, providing a direct and easy access to Google Web Search. The pre-loaded blog application, on the other hand, will enable users to share words and pictures in an easy and convenient way.

Sony Ericsson also announced that all of its Internet-capable phones to be developed from now on, will be equipped with Google's search engine.
