$560.00! too expensive. samsung has nothing to worry about. their galaxy ace is cheaper and has almost same specs as this phone. sony ericsson is still climbing out of the slump and the price of this phone will not help.

This shows how stupid you are. How can you compare Galaxy Ace with Xperia Ray?! Read the specs first you idiot. The price is for pre-order, read the article again. It's more expensive in pre-order, because you buy it in advance. Still you cannot compare Ace with Ray, and yes, still you are an idiot.

SE need a whole new hardware design and software UI. Or they will never be successful. And stop using cheep s**t. Really. The best phone they have is the Xperia Play and I hear that is garbage, sure felt like it when I was using it. And the Screen is SOO bad.

I am not sure what don't you like at SE hardware design. It's the best in the whole Android comunity (not for materials used, winner = HTC). Software is good enough. And the best phone they have is not Xperia Play, it's the Arc. Another thing is this: have you ever used Play? Your statement "I hear that is garbage, sure felt like it when I was using it" it's out of control, and really shows how smart you are. Get a life man.

Hardware design i'm assuming you mean spec wise. Yeah, they kinda need to keep up with the latest tech in this department. Cosmetic wise they're at the top of their game.

UI i kinda think its a very personal oppinion issue. imho it's still one of the better looking ones. Only thing i hate is that you can't remove/change that gray bar at the bottom.

Screen wise is another preference issue. I don't usually need to share movies with a group of friends on my phone so viewing angles an't a problem for me. If i were to share any movies there's still DLNA and HDMI.

The Xperia play is bulls**t? Yeah, gotta agree with you on that one XD it's kinda a marketing gimmic if you ask me XD Specs an't even high enough to provide sufficient resources for developers to utilise forcing them to work within the limits of last year's benchmarks.
