Some can't handle change and are returning their Apple iPhone X

Down in South Florida, a gentleman with the initials SP was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his Apple iPhone X ever since he had pre-ordered the handset on October 27th. Yet, when the device finally arrived on the November 3rd launch date, he was underwhelmed. Complaining that the tenth anniversary model was not as useful for his job as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was, SP decided to turn in his iPhone X, making the Galaxy Note 8 his daily driver once again...

"Simplicity was what set apple apart from every other phone" Yeah, simple like a one-function toaster. Slap an Apple logo on it and charge $1100, the retard iChumps will chizz themselves trying to hand you their money for that simple toaster that can't do anything but burn bread. XD

"Simplicity was what set apple apart from every other phone." Of course, and this is just why I buy other devices. I don't want a simple FB/YouTube player with voice call functionality. I want to be able to do stuff you know? Flagship devices cost a lot of money. And when a company is bringing a bad one to the table, people should just buy from the competition. This is what would make a company rethink what it is doing and actually try to catch up to the competition. BUT if there are enough stubborn or stupid people to still buy the product, the bad pattern will continue year after year. So it is in your hands guys. What do you want?

Haha. See Tim ypu brought Karma. The Notch isnt worth $1000. IPhone X will have 3rd largest return rate be3jind defextive stricken 6 series. My FB friends, mostly chicks got theirs and they swear they love it. One said, she had t had much timw to play, but Face ID was cool Im glad i at least i got a hands on 20 mims 10 years and the pjone has nothing to brag about My maim izsues is the Notch, inconsistent apps pages, no fast charger, no premium headphones, durability factor and way to many gesthres and Face ID doesnt take you to the home acreen. 2 step unlock from one step is backwards Not prkgress. All Samsung lohins are one step except password. The one i will use less. Starbucks for the ein!

So much wrong here, and i don’t mean with the device. Notch is necessary to direct peoples’ gaze to the proper place for security. Perhaps you’d prefer the Samsung unlock-with-a-photocopy version?

Still not a single offer on mine. I'm just not seeing the demand for it that past iPhones generated. Considering supplies were reportedly severely constrained, I thought I'd have a buyer right away. But nothing. I even listed on Craigslist (didn't want to, I don't like the idea of an in person transaction, but I'm getting no interest on Ebay). I'm kind of glad the second one I tried to buy fell through.

You won't be stuck with it. Apple had a big turnout, but that doesn't mean everyine their bought one. The issue to with eBay is no monthly payments unless you pay with PayPal. I'm aurprised you havent unloaded yet. To be honest im surprised you even purchased it. I wass critical.of it before actually seeing it. But all my criticism was dead to right. I could deal wih learning all the gestures. But the notch, ui issues, lame headphones with 10 anniversary model, no fast charger and small battery for a phone rhat already has dismal battery-life were all cons for me. Watch PA find a way to give a 9.3 review. Cons No fast charger in box Notch. Cant UI work around Small battery No premium headphones Terrible resolution (dimensions) Storage to small for 4k@60 recordings 3GB of ram only No fps 2 step login with face id To many gestures Screwd up UX Overexposed cameras. Slow focus Choppy OIS Design is more fragile vs Galaxy Note 8 5.8 disolay isnt actually smaller. No fast wireless charging $999 $1150

Don't feel bad I though I had my two sold...guy backed out and I haven't had a hit since... About to return the 256gb and I might keep the 64gb for a few months.... Heck I might return them both and wait for another Note 8 sale... Probably the best choice though it is similar to my S8 plus.

I really like the tone of the article - that anyone who isn't satisfied with the iPhone X just can't handle change. It's their fault the iPhone isn't what they require. Definitely an Alan F. article.

Yeah, saw that, too! He just had to absolve Apple of any design wrongs, and transfer all blames to the buyers who couldn't "handle change." I tell you, most of these writers are so full of it. I'm 9/10 sure that he blamed windows 8's shortcomings, which revolved mainly around its lack of start menu, and not so mouse-friendly UI, on Microsoft, and not on users who couldn't "handle change"

I prefer the note series and believe that there is no other equal but that damn imessage, facetime, and friend locator lol. Yes there are apps for that, but its such a pain to get wife and friends to download apps.

What a fail of a phone. No fast charger for a $1000 phone!? No phone percentage icon because of the screen? lol

Total win of a phone for $1149. To each his own.

My Wife is returning her's today she doesn't like the notch at the top it's distracting & the way things have changed she said. She been super excited for months for the iPhone X, now she had it a couple of days she really disappointed with it. Luckily while it on Contract she got 14 days so she going to exchange it for the iPhone 8 instead.

She’s an idiot. What a foolish reason to return. The notch isn’t even noticed unless you just sit there and stare at it.

Well, I would say that the person who claims to be an iPhone fan is not one after all. Because the change is inevitable even in the technology world. And the companies need to upgrade their traditional methods. The media shouldn't create much hype if one or two users are returning the smartphone because they are living in the past.

So you can't be a fan of a company or it's products unless you automatically move everything they produce? That seems silly. Not all change is good change.

Does anyone know who the commentators on here are? I was threaten to be limited and banned for posting links but keep seeing the same offenders posting links. Sometimes 3 links in a single comment. Just want to be sure I cuss out the right ones. 21 links by one person. This is a banned no doubt. If not I will be waiting for an explanation from PA and a apology.

I admit having the notch...I feel much different than anything out there...I look at no notch as outdated...Apple notch is the new thing...FaceID is surprisingly amazing over TouchID. Swiping from app to app is slick and super quick! This is good upgrade over the 8. Not a huge upgrade, but I see 2019 a big upgrade over the competition. 2018 will only bring us a bigger Plus model along with similar iPads that will inherit the notch and edge to edge design. I prefer bigger as 2018 will be the biggest iPhone upgrade in history. I can see Apple hitting 100 million if the inventory is there during launch...

Don't fall in love with it, because I'm sure future models won't have it. The notch was a compromise, not a cool aesthetic.

I have a feeling that if Apple released a phone with no display you'd think screens were outdated.

I think Apple has nailed it this time. If it ran android and the price wasn't stupid I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Hell maybe I'd buy it anyway if the price wasn't stupid.

I think Notch is the issue with iphone 10.One can accustomed with gestures in two-three days. But If one is using two or more phones then the new gestures may be troublesome. Also I think Apple may increase the display size on iphone 10 and eliminates the annoying notch.I would like iphone 10 with bigger display and dont mind if it is near iphone 8 plus size.I think Apple misses some important points in making iphone 10.I am Android guy but not a iphone hater.
