See the Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android L in this 8 minute-long preview

The folks at SamMobile just landed a sweet exclusive -- a chance to play around with a test build (LRW58J) of Android L for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Before we get into the specifics, let's get one (rather important) thing out of the way -- according to SamMobile's source, Android L is indeed slated for a re-branding to Android Lollipop. In other words, if this turns out to be true, then the majority of you will have been spot on in one of our latest polls...

Still that ugly TW.. Sammy really needs to revamp their ui, it's getting pretty stale. I know it's all subjective and also know many like tw but for me it almost makes me not want the note 4

Okay i am not a big fan of TouchWiz, but seems to me like this Android L on the S5 speeds things up and the animations are a bit smoother. Still there are some nanolags when opening the apps "like the calculator for instance" but this is far much better than the Touchwiz i have on the S5 now. Also Daily usage will differ from demonstration "opening one app at a time" So we can not have a big word now. The change in animations are already from the Android L, not the new Touchwiz ammendment. Bottom line, touchwiz here is for sure better, but that is not only samsung's work, if there are any done in such period, but google's work in improving the animations and making it more buttery smooth as well as improving the battery life too. I would like to see such Video but in the HTC One (M8) or the Z2 for example. I am having an S5 (exynos version) and an S3 too (exynos version)

One thing I like so much about sammy is the fact that they listen and they listen quick. I believe strongly that a day will come that little stutter will be totally resolved. And haters will look for other things to hate. They started with plastic now they're previous metals are bending. Lol

I do agree that touchwiz might not be the first choice, unfortunately, it is the most responsive, without rooting. HTCs Sense is by far the most attractive of all the UIs, but doesnt beat the functionality of Touchwiz. Lets be realistic, by the time Android L comes out in its full capacity it's going to have everything that we've expected it to have, giving us android users another reason why we chose android to iphone........but hey worse case scenario......CYANOGENMOD lol

Why one earth Samsung applied that flashy neon green on blue background notification bar? Downright horrible combination. It seems that awful icons never going to change. Samsung ruining fully functional TW with awful aesthetics.

This isn't design. My 15 year old Son could knock this up in a weekend. It is so dull looking. When Designers come back to the boardroom to present this, are you seriously telling me that they all sit there open mouthed in amazement at the beauty and creativity of this? Boring boring boring!!!!!

I was led to believe that using as much black as possible improved battery live on these amoled-screens. So isn't all that white gonna eat battery live? Or did no one consider that? . And then there's this: There's gazillion of youtube clips to enable developer mode and disable animations for better performance. And now I hear that L is "all" about animations? WTF?
