SanDisk corporation introduces SanDisk T-Flash, the world's smallest removable flash memory storage format. Instead of embedded memory, the T-Flash also can be used as removable memory which allows interoperability with other consumer electronics devices. The size of T-Flash is 11mm x 15mm x1mm and represents approximately one quarter of the volume of the smallest removable flash cards available on the market. T-Flash uses packaging technology and SanDisk's latest NAND MLC flash memory and controller technologies. With the available SD adapter, T-Flash can be converted into SD card for interoperability with standard SD devices and will allow data exchange between their T-Flash-equipped mobile phone and any SD compatible host. Motorola announced last week that Motorola E1000 and the Motorola A1000 will use the 32MB T-Flash. Pricing ranges from $14 to $39 for capacities that range from 32MB to 128MB.
