Do you think that Samsung's new One UI is indeed best for one-handed operation?

The new One UI sounds like the Holy Grail of big-screen touch interfaces and is a totally different approach compared to current one-handed modes that simply shrink the content to manageable heights, making icons microscopic in the process. This is why we wanted to ask you if you find Samsung's new One UI the best solution for using today's giant handsets with one hand as its interface design team claims, or are you actually satisfied with the current state of affairs?

Just make smaller screens. I want larger screens for MORE content, not less.

Or you can just use one-handed mode which have been on their devices since the Galaxy Note.

Why? The majority of people want big screen devices, and year upon year companies offer multiple sized devices, people often choose the bigger models, so just use the one hand mode or wait for a foldable device to arrive in the spring, all ur prayers answered

The 4.7" iPhone model always sold more than the Plus model. And from what I could find, the regular Galaxy sells more than the + model. More people don't want phablets, just the most vocal people on phone forums.

Samsung seems to be the only Android manufacturer that is addressing large screen syndrome. They have an awesome one handed mode, and it looks like they are redesigning their UI to make using their phones one handed even easier. Other manufacturers need to take notice. One handed modes should be built into stock android.

I think the UI should be built with one handed use in mind, not just a "mode". If you have to use two hands, might as well use a tablet

Just another crappy gimmick by Samsung to deceive it's blinded fanboys and take all their money......lolzzzz There are two types of gimmicks in this world, cool and useful gimmicks and dull and useless gimmicks. This One UI thing is a very dull useless gimmick.

Oh but if this had been Apppe who did this, the whole point of hate on Samsung would be immediate love for Apple. Good tech comes from all sources. Samsung haters have no class. Revolutions come from anywhere dude. Stop hating on leovress. At least Samsung works hard on changing their UI. Apples UI is still ass backwards and boring since day one. All they did was lose the home butron. How you like closing an app and going to settings for something as simple as changing the camera resolution for a photo or video. Why does it take 2 steps to unlock, 2 buttons to power off?

Actually it's because the camera heats up when recording 4K and could damage the sensor. You're just an idiot bruh. If you need to record something for longer than 10 mins, why can't you buy a realm cameras? I mean really? And I dont see Samsung phones exploding all the time. A d such have happened to lots of phones. In fact more than you actually know or care to Google and see. SAMSUNG HATER ALERT!!!!

I really don't think think that foldable phones are gimmick, I mean, I can use it as normal phone with that 4.6 inch screen and for media and gaming I can use the bigger screen for better experience. It's like having a tablet and smartphone at the same time.

Oh, he is. Sooooooo bitter. Year after year, Samsung phones are judged the best on the market, and it's like a thousand red hot needles jammed into his butt at the same time.

Your pain at Samsung releasing the best smartphones year after year is obvious. And now, they're bringing the only true innovation to smartphones with folding devices (I know, "But, animojis," you say). Your pain is only going to increase from here. Sorry.

Intel modems in iPhones are also a gimmick. LTE cuts out quite a bit, but you never talk about that.

Yep, Disappointingly though, Samsung has confirmed to Tom's Guide that the Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 will miss out on this new modernized and streamlined software experience.

That's bogus on Samsungs' part if that's really the case.
