*REPOST* Samsung Reps are showing these off and I got to play with the S10+. It's beautiful! Here are the takeaways. Punch hole is not that bad. Your eyes will adjust. What bezels?? Fingerprint sensor is in the display, triple cameras or rear, wide angle is insane regarding the field of view. Reverse charging is a go as I charged my XS Max on it as well as my galaxy watch. The white color the rep had was okay, he did say pink was option as well. The speakers are louder and more robust. He also said the foldable phone is definitely on the way and it's even more beautiful. There were two avid iPhone users there and they were wowed and said they are switching for sure. I can't wait!!

Any word on how the in-screen fingerprint scanner performed compared to optical scanners in current devices, or to a traditional scanner?

I thought about adding my fingerprint but decided not to since this was a demo device that was going to be taken all over the city for demo purposes but the rep showed me unlocking it with his finger and it was way faster than my One Plus 6 and that has gotten faster with updates. Hopes this paints a good picture for you.

Do you mean your OnePlus 6T with its in-screen optical scanner? Or did you mean OnePlus 6 with the traditional back scanner that's already lightning fast? Either way, I'm stoked to get my hands on the S10.

Does it scan the fingerprint anywhere on the screen ? Or should the finger be placed in a specific location like the current underscreen fps solution?

I'm on the same boat: Note8 user here. I'll wait for the Note 10, but if it doesn't get the 3.5mm jack then I'll get the S10

I have an Iphone X with 64 GB on board, and a ton of apps, photos, songs, etc that consume most of my memory. I deeply regret not to spend a little more in the 256 GB option, wich is too much for me. So 64 GB is more than fine for a modest user, but I prefer the 128 GB option..

128GB of internal storage is mid range classic from last year...

Just don't give me 16GB, I'll be fine.

128 minimum for me, I'd prefer 256 or 512. I run a 256GB micro SD card in my Note 8

I use 40/118gb. I do plan to buy a Canon and when I start importing photos via their app I'll need a ton of storage.

64 is fine for me, but my gf needs like 512, she's a photo addict.

One aspect? Are you stupid? Samsung has raised the bar more in the last 3 years than apple has done in 8. Truly stupid people write for this blog.

Wish Samsung would commit to their own OS and not use android. i would seriously consider them but a closed system is a must. Androids open system seems to slow down over time and not be as consistent and reliable as IOS.

I have 512gb and my resale value will thank me. I should get close to $1k on a phone I’m typing on to post this comment.

With SD slot, 64GB is enough even 32GB. Hoever, without SD card slot, minimum internal storage should be 128GB.
