Samsung working on own operating system?
Earlier this week we told you about the Samsung i8320 that according to its Bluetooth certificate should be Linux-based. This made us ask ourselves whether the Korean giant was working on their own operating system. According to Telecoms Korea, this is the case indeed, because Samsung´s Chief of Mobile Design division has confirmed the information stating that similarly to other leading manufacturers, they also understand the vital necessity of developing their own software solution. We still do not have any further details on the OS, although the rumor goes it will be Linux-based and probably roll out quite soon.

We wonder if the manufacturer will bid farewell to all platforms they have been using and exclusively focus on their own operating system? Is it likely that it´s open source software? Let speculations rule and your comments spread like wildfire in the section below!
