As far as you claim on battery life - here are the FACTS http://www.gsmarena.com/battery-test.php3 Based on this list which does not include the iPhone 7 which has only just been released. Forget the other OEM's, lets just look at Samsung vs everyone else because their phones are more feature rich and have what would be considered as more battery drain features. When you look at the list, there are 13 Samsung devices that have better batterylife vs the first iPhone that shows up in the list. And it isn't a margin different either. In some cases its a far as 20% or more. Oh and not all those Samsung's were flagship devices either. In fact one was the Galaxy J. The fact is my Australian tech fan is simple. I would expect that a device that does more will consume more power. So I am always fair. If the Galaxy S7 Edge for example had the iPhone battery, it likely would not last as long as an iPhone. However, there are phones with smaller batteries than the iPhone, that last long than the iPhone. All those phones in fact have MORE bloat and still have MORE capability vs the iPhone. They have equal or higher resolutions. Please explain how the iPhone 6S Plus taken inferior pictures vs an older Galaxy S5? Because that is a fact that has been proven side by side. Look at the video side by side iPhone 6 vs GS5. Since the 6 and 6S use the same camera, there is no point in testing the newer 6S model. Listen to the audio. Even the audio is better on the S5. The S5 is water resistant with IP67. The iPhone 7 is rated the same. But look, the S5 was rate such 3 years ago. Apple is only matching a 3 tear old device? As far as your claim, its simple. Both IOS and Android both have their strengths and weaknesses. But Android strengths are IOS weaknesses and Android weaknesses are the IOs strenghts in many cases. But what makes Android better is it has MORE strenghts vs weaknesses whiel its the total opposite for iOS. That si fact. How is it iOS has less features, yet crashes more apps vs Android? How is it iOS has higher quality apps, but those apps have less features vs the same app on Android? With Android I can plug my phone into a Mac, Windows and Linux PC and I can directly transfer files to and from my phone equally. You can't do that with an iPhone. all you can move is photos/videos. You have no file system access on a Mac unless you download and install IOS SDK. Having more features isnt always good, having less isn't always bad. But then price become an issue. I dont expect any product I buy that is mas produced to cost more yet do less than another product that competes on a similar level. You will never find a brand new base model car that costs as much or more than the same car with a higher trim level. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SUCH BECAUSE IT DOESNT EXIST. You need to be convinced that your s**t does stink, because you claim it doesn't.

You had me up till you started talking about cars. I think you were comparing Apples to Apples instead of Apples to Oranges. It is possible to find a base model Luxury brand vehicle, that costs as much as a fully loaded non-luxury brand. Which is I think where your analogy should have gone. Apple looks at itself as a Luxury brand (take your pick here), and feels it can charge about the same as a fully loaded... lets say Honda Accord. I believe what you are saying is that if you look at a iphone and compare it to lets say a samsung flagship, treat them like they are on the same level, and then compare what they offer. It does seen pretty dumb to charge as much as they do. BUT Apple is a walled off ecosystem, they do their own thing. That is just Apples mindset. It actually hurts my head to think of a logical way to explain what you are trying to convey, to someone who is a die hard Apple fan. They love their phones, and are so invested in that ecosystem, that try to compare spec for spec for them, will just fall on death ears. Its not really about the specs to them at this point, it is about the experience. I for one look forward to my purchase of the iphone 7 plus, I will switch off between using that phone and my unlocked HTC 10 at free random. That way I can get a full picture of what both ecosystems offer these days.

Dude. Even though luxury cars do have base models, those base models are more decked out compared to a base model of a non luxury brand.. In order for a non luxury care to costvas much as a base luxury model, you will be adding luxury items. Dude...my analogy was perfect. Imerre lwt me show you. The Lexus ES3xx is a base model luxury car. It's starts at about $35,000. A base Camry is about $17k. In order for a Camry to cost as much as a ES3xx, you would need to add $ 17,000 worth of options. A fancy radio, with evrything...GPS...everything. leather seats, 18" wheels, biggest V6, moon roof and more. By the time you fo all that you coukd have just bought the ES which has that all standard. It's the same with an iPhone. The iPhone costs $800 for the size i would need. In order ton.ake an iPhone do everyrbinf my phomw does out the box, I would need to. It $300 in application. I would have to flood th3 device with tons of apps which is hamper my iPhones performance, because it's hardware is lame. Or I can spend the same money and buy $800 of a phone wih all those things out the box and some extras too. I can't use an iPhone right out the box. Many people can. Just like some people cam have a base model car. I cant.k

We all know for a FACT yourself included that most iPhone users are sheep's. Meaning they will buy anything Apple without a blink. If you go to the store and say "let me get whatever iPhone you have" without even wanting to check out the competition then you are an isheep. If you buy all Apple and only Apple you are an isheep. If you think your too dumb to use anything other than iPhone without even trying something new, your an isheeps. If you have to justify Apple short comings as "I dont need it" or "this is all I need" you are an isheeps. Ex: I don't need a big screen, then want the 7 plus. "All I need is 16gb", oh it has 32 now(happy voice). I dont care for water "resistance", "oh i heard iphone is water resistant now"(happy voice). If you hate Android knowing very well you never used one, then you are an isheep. Anything negative you heard about Android you except it as fact. Anything good you heard you ignore. Then you are an isheep.

Also if you camp outside or pay more to get the newest iPhone, that debatable if it's better or not. You are a isheep

bobby84 I get your point, and considering that the term "iSheep" is literally based on true facts about Apple fans. But, I prefer not to use it, when personally confronting an iFan, because it'll sound derogatory, and I do not like deflecting tech-related criticism into a personal criticism against anyone. But calling them "iSheep" in a broad term is something I might do, if necessary.

But how is it any different than Fandroids and Samesheep? It's not derogatory. It's just a label. It's has no racism, or prejudice and there is no malicious intent.. Calling someone a sheep equal to calling them a zombie. As in acting as if mindless. It's calling and apple and apple, no calling and Apple and orange.

Dude. I couldn't have said it any better. If Steve Jobs was the God they all act like he is, Steve would be able to grow iPhonea on trees. That's how much they worship this man. I could care less who the CEO of any tech company is. They are just men and pawns of the board. They are to corps what the President is to America. He is just a face to me and just a man....or woman. If any person feels Steve Jobs is equal to the likesof Moses orJesus, and walk on water and make water turn into wine, then that is certainly a shepep. Anyone who can't say the facts of how an iPhone has actually exploded on a flight and it was never banned, but the Note 7 has never done so, but it was a bigger deal? Seems anyone exploding on a plane should be an equal big deal. Here is a fact. Even though less iPhones have exploded, more of them cause injury or even death. Even though close too 100 device showed an issue, not all of them exploded, and NO ONE WAS INJURED. Apples phone has killed people and in many cases I am sure no one could sue them, nor was Apple forced to be responsible. Apple was not forced to be responsible for the iPhone 4 issue. But they should have been. Applet should have been made responsible for the iPhone bending, damaging the battery and causing the battery to explode an injure people. But they did not. Samsung stood up and dealt with it from the very first occurenace. Then one poster has the audacity to say he doesn't see how we can compare the issue. What a fanboi! Openly turning a blind eye to facts. Those are sheep. Resistence is futile!

Just fyi, as someone sitting in the middle. Both sides are equally good at tossing back and forth a ton of stuff, and for that matter accusing anyone that says something against their side to be on the 'other' side, even if people are being objective... So yeah.

IPhone didn't perform as well as I thought in the few speed tests that's online. Note7 and s7 actually beat it in loading some games. This battle of the best phones performance will be close this year. Iphone 7 not performing as good as everyone thought.

Do people really worry about a fraction of a second difference in app loading times? Especially since they aren't loading them aside by side.

considering everything. Yeah. In Android, we can be poweruser. Those fraction of seconds you mentioned is the room for poweruser to maximize it.So considering price per performance, Apple will always be overpriced.

Can't wait to get it. Also phonearena I've said this in the past but it's sad that you don't let ppl comment with adblock on. I wouldn't turn on adblock if you didn't have a million ads that make everything painfully slow...

Lol. I had also encountered a super loud video blasting an ad about a Toyota car.

They don't want us to prosper and comment with ad block on. That's not a major key. We the best. They played themselves. *Khalid voice*

+1... AdBlocker is hurting you... And no Adblocker is hurting us... Lets find a middle ground where everyone wins, savvy? BTW, I'm using Opera Mini and thankfully it's working GREAT on my Nexus and Lumia both..! No ads, fluid scrolling and EXTREMELY low data consumption! This page only ate like 100KBs with images on FULL quality... Without images, its like 20 or so KBs! So DJ Khalid, try it out... Salam!
