Samsung unveils Push-To-All Technology

Today Samsung introduced new technology, called Push-To-All (PTA). It incorporates the existing Push-to-Talk, Push-to-View, and Push-to-Data, which respectively allow users to simultaneously talk with several people, to make a video call and to transfer data. The PTA handsets will be similar to walkie-talkie with video capabilities, with the speaker's image appearing instantly on the handset screen of the user or multiple users on the call. Consumers also will be able to send image, video clip and music contents to multiple users through one simple operation on a mobile device at a time. Samsung plans to release PTA-ready handsets for EV-DO, EDGE, UMTS and Wifi data networks.
