Beautiful. Wish that Galaxy S3 would look like this. I dont like that tiny home button at the bottom of the S3. I know its just detail, but for some reason it irritates me. I cant help it.

I like the Note II. Definitely worth buying once it hit the states. the question is........WHEN?? it took the original note almost 6 months for it to hit the states and i dont like how we have to wait for it. I will hold on to my AT&T eligibility for this phone and make my wife jealous because she has the original Note lol

Their date is debatable cause in the unpacked event they want to go for October 2012

nope. I dont throw down final judgement until we get commercially released reviews and benchmarks. We have a good idea of what to expect with the note2.. the LG still has a bit of "faith" involved that they've upped their game. The Note2 is still probably too big for me. I'd have to play with it. The note1 just looked like it would be annoying in my pocket.

remixfa there is nothing coming out with a E5 this year. They didn't even mention that mystery tablet they were talking about. Quad-core S4 Krait Pro is coming out in 2012 the E5 dual-core is 2013. I figure sometime before Q2 ends. For the quad-core E5 it looks like it's going to be this time next year. Wow Qualcomm has the mobile processor on lock this year & next year.

Q is always first out of the gate. Thats their advantage and Achilles heel at the same time. They get lots of excitement and a space of time all to themselves, then they get pummeled by the other chips being more powerful. Nope, that was my best hope for an E5. Unless there is another surprise, It looks like by Q2 is now my best guess as well. BOOOOOOOOOOOO. I just need a device im excited for... none of them are good enough for my $$ yet. I dont want to compromise on jack.

remixfa if you think like that you will never get anything. Remember nothing is ever the best for long. Just think of it this way, (I know it helps me) everything you buy in theory is already obsolete because if it's out in a store that means that the OEM is already working on or is about to release something more kickass than that.

thats why the last phone I bought was the SGS1. It was exactly what I wanted. strongest specs, best screen, lots of development (though since i got it day 1, i didnt know that would happen... but i had faith :) ), and a surprisingly agile 5mpx camera which was still considered top end at the time. I would have gotten the S2 or the S3 had they not been reduced to reject status by the chip trade out and power compromises... the quality issues of the S3 are a bit of a turn off as well. I'll get what I want and exactly what I want. If I'mma shell out 600 for a phone its going to be darn near perfect. :) I will wait until the multiple nexus announcements that are around the bend, that is my next great "hope" for a device that really gets my engine running. I will "settle" for a Krait quad or maybe even Pro if the rest of the device is perfect, otherwise I'll likely be holding out for an E5. I love the idea of the Note2 and its features, but its a bit too big for me. Kinda spoiled by how thin, light, and pocket friendly my Vibrant is. I literally have to check my pockets half the time to make sure its still there because I dont feel it. I am a tech nut. Cant help it. Its like OCD. You think I know as much as I do because it floats into my brain at night? lol. Always lookin, researching, comparing. Shyyyt, im supposed to be studying my Med/Surg book right now and im here yackin about new tech instead. lol

buy what? the note2? I just said its prob still to big for me :) I'd have to handle it to see though. Way too picky. Cant help it. I'm one of those guys that researches every tech/car/ect buy to death, pouring over comparisons and reviews for days before i make a purchase.

I am bit disappointed with the resolution. I was expecting it to be 1680 X 1050 as mentioned earlier

Dunno if some of the comments here regarding the design are sarcastic or what cause it looks exactly like the S3 imo

I don't know what you guys who are disappointed really expected or wanted Samsung to do. The phone is coming with Jelly Bean pre installed, a great processor, two gigs of RAM, and an even bigger screen without increasing overall size. This is a nice upgrade, what the Note should have been in the first place. Now PLEASE, Samsung, get this to the US as soon as possible, and on MULTIPLE CARRIERS this time.
