Samsung to start mass production of 300ppi+ Super AMOLED displays in Q2 2012, right for the Galaxy S III

Phase 3 of Samsung's A2 5.5-Gen AMOLED line is listed as beginning mass production with the LITI method in Q2 of next year, and this conveniently falls into the same timeframe when the rumored Samsung Galaxy S III with even crazier alleged screen resolution of 1024x1280 pixels is about to enter production...

1080p looks awesome on 60 inch displays and it will be awesome on a 6 inch cellphone with little to no bezel. When does this happen?

Anyone else curious to see if the PenTile matrix ends up ruining the Super Amoled HD screen? I didn't like PenTile on the Bionic. That said, it may end up being ok on an SAMOLED. Thoughts?

LG GD880 mini: 480 x 854 pixels, 3.2 inches (~306 ppi pixel density) you don't have that phone in your table!

Here is the thing with these pixels, after a certain point it will not matter because our eyes cannot see beyond a certain point. Its just the way it is. Thus, all this super pixel density talk is rather pointless. All we can see is that its sharp. I would rather the next year or so focus on something other than a high pixel density screen. It just doesnt matter anymore.
