Please tell me more about your close to bullcrap touchwiz and how your OS lags on an octacore chip? iPhone is smoother and more stable with the dual core? It is the software that matters these days

Touchwiz does not lag. The Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy s5 have no trace of lag in them, so stop with this blatant attack. As for being stable, Android is much more stable that ios. Even skinned versions of Android like touchwiz, we experience less reboots and force close compared to IOS.

Several sites mentioned the S lag in their review of the S5. Not to mention, the impromptu speed test between it and the Moto E where the Moto E performs better when doing everyday tasks.

See here, moto E = iP5S.. :) S5 is on different league compared to them :)

The Moto E/S5 comparison was bunk. They compared the E gallery app with zero pictures or folders to the S5 gallery app with many pictures and folders to index on its first run.

You can find a couple of videos on YouTube comparing the two and the S5 didn't fare well.

I have experienced some lag when I borrowed my brother's iPhone 5s. Nothing's infallible. The iPhone may feel faster with less cores and proc speed but it's also not as stressed with limit multitasking/ background apps and less pixel pushing. Touch latency on the iPhone 5s isn't the lowest either.

I've owned android based phones an iphone 4 and a blackberry or two including the Z10 and I can hoestly say that they all suck in one way or another, what one phone lacks another gains and so on and so forth. It's your money buy whatever you feel if better for you. I'm done with these stupid ios vs android arguments since in the end when both phones drop to the ground and break they become worthless. The only phone I'm actually extactic about is the Ubuntu Edge when that bad boy rolls out it's gonna really change the whole concept of what a handheld device can be.

"when that bad boy rolls out..." You're a little late, the kickstarter failed, it's not gonna "roll out."

iPhone users to Samsung: we don't care, we're irrational.

Nice ad but they waited too long to exploit the issue. By all accounts the next iPhone will have a bigger screen. There's really no reason for iOS users to get the S5.

The timing is perfect. They r trying to make it look like apple had to response to their ad.

The commercial is true.no matter how you look at it.i have owned a iPhone since 2008 and every year apple were planning to release the new iphone I kept hoping the screen size was bigger.apple is not copying samsung.apple is starting to feel the pressure.apples customers have being complaining for the past 2 years on the screen issue.apple is not only feeling presume on its iphones but all the way across its products."the next big thing" had better be coming soon.

I'm not much for iOS or iphone at all cause i prefer an android phone over an iphone. But its still funny how butthurt most android user are and when they start comparing 5s less than HD screen to the "mighty" QHD screens of the android flagships. I still think FHD is maximum res that should be used on a 6" and below and to go even higher isnt even worth it.. More battery drain and preformance drain. For what?, a puny % increase in sharpness that you probably wont notice or think about after have used the phone after 2 weeks. I really hope note 4 will come with a FHD variant.

So this is what the biggest android OEM makes when the battlefield starts to burn ? Making an boycott AD because of fear of competition ? This what a market leader does ? This just shows how huge the next iPhone will be when others have urge to boycott it even before release. And that ad is horrid anyway, both of these are too small, as phones are used as a main device only in case of emergency eg, only when there is no tablet around.

As someone who audits refurbished mobile phones and tablets for a living, I can tell you that iOS and Android are more similar now than ever before. It boggles my mind that people spend hours on end to mean-spiritedly debate which phones are better. Let's be honest, we are all biased to some degree. With some people, it is to the point that debating is utterly pointless. smh

XD Its funny just how much people hunt for these articles, just to create storms of this vs this arguements. THIS IS BETTER CAUSE IT HAS THIS! THAT IS BETTER BECAUSE IT HAS THAT. THATS NOT TRUE! THIS HAS THIS! NO OURS IS BETTER CAUSE IT HAS THIS! At this point, I dont think even the trolls who cause the fights even care about which is better, they only come now to see what kind of arguement they can brew up because its so easy to do so. I consistantly have to listen to people try to describe which OS is better, which phone is better, which concept is better, over and over again with no side buckling to the other. However, someone told me an easy way to describe both sides. Its like choosing what you want to eat. Consider apple to be a premimum burger joint. They have Retina Cheese, an IOS Patty, fresh cut Imessage lettuce, and so on (you get my joke here). Everytime You take a bite, its delishous, well made, fresh, and an all around treat everytime. You ALWAYS get a great made burger Android is like going to a more open ended burger joint. The moment you walk in, you are thrusted into a menu bigger than the store itself. Theres lists upon lists of menus on top of menus. It looks like a cluttered mess. They have things on that menu you've never even HEARD about before and everything you can want on that burger is listed into more and more catagories. Its scary to look at, almost unnerving. However, those who are dedicated into that list see something else. Hmmm..do I want a Samsung patty? Or HTC? Maybe Motorola(Although I hear it comes with Motoblur filling..), Sony? Do I want Super Amoled Cheese? Or Brava Cheese? ohhh or Boomsound Cheese? What about your choice of breed? Your toppings? Endless, its almost like you can create any kind of burger you want! Sometimes you get something worse than what you wanted though, depending on what you put on it, while other times, you can create something beyond what you consider a normal burger, its really up to you to decide. This description fits perfectly into both OS and manufactors. One gives you a premimum taste everytime you order it, while the other gives you a more of a pick your flavor. Its really up to you to decide which you value more. I myself, even if I loved the premimum burger and how great it is, have to admit. The other side is extremely tempting, especially when you see the kind of burgers people create there. Maybe I do want onion ring messagers on it. Maybe Id like a spicy ketchup overlay. Maybe I want some sweet pickles widgets. I dunno, Id have to try it and see what works, and despite how much we argue, I dont think even one of us would be satisfied eatting the same thing every day.

This Android vs iOS bs is stupid I've used the 3 major OS's (Droid, iOS, WP) and I'll tell you this much, the form factor of an iPhone is a lot better than the 5.2 inch behemoths android users like to call "normal" although there are mini versions of flagships the only one that doesn't make compromises is the Z1 Compact. An HD resoultion isn't necessary on such a small device what matters more is pixel density and after 300 ppi can you honestly say theres a world difference going to astronomical resolutions? Everything has its strengths and weaknesses and after using every OS I like WP the most because I like the UI and has every app I need ad doesn't spark unneeded debates on what is "better". Seriously just get a phone you like and shut your mouths and be happy we live in a world that even has these devices.
