Samsung tells ALL Galaxy Note 7 owners to power down the device – original AND replacement models

Samsung has issued a press release this afternoon related to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 replacement units. Since last week, at least six of them have exploded including the latest incident that took place at a South Korean Burger King. That explosion was caught on video. Supposedly a "safer" version of the phablet because of the different battery employed on the model, the replacement units have proven to be as dangerous as the original models...

Dark needs to report! He will be eating crow yet again. Remember he was going to keep his original note 7, then returned it!

Dark, was a hardcore apple fan for a long time, now he uses androird as well. I completely understand why he didn't want to get rid of it. Honestly it was a great phone ahead of its time, seems to me that your the troll for bagging on Dark when he's not here or for just loving his device.

It's all good bro, it's keyboard warrior talk. I returned mine today. The press release, and the fact that I couldn't sell, or exchange it next year was enough for me. Got a Note 5 coming, and using my 6S Plus to type this. Awesome device, but too much drama going on, and it'll hurt next years resale.

nctx77 is a jealous hater, and has been for as long as he's been on this forum. It drives him nuts that people buy and like Samsung products. Just do like the rest of us, chuckle at him and move on.

I'm so far from a troll lol. When do I ever come here to start trouble, or try to be a bother? I'm pissed, but my Note is gone :(

Yeah, those guys call you troll just because you like you Note 7, which was great if it weren't for the battery issues. Then if you start talking about how you like your iPhone 6S Plus surely they'll call you iSheep or stuff like that.

Catch 22 lol. I just enjoy what I want, and don't care what fanboy gets pissed about it. They talk tough on the net.

Hypocrites lol. All those years I spent defending Apple, made them think I was a blind fanboy, no they see I have no brand loyalty, and it pisses them off.

A giant has fallen, sadly :( Now lets go back to use 3.5" phones bcs the pioneer is dead. Nobody wants bigger phones, haha

ZTE has been pumping out some okay-build quality smaller phones on the prepaid networks. I feel like the Axon is going to creep up on the Note (not a smaller phone, but still).

I'm right here, reading morons. Typing in my Note 7, which has never gotten even warm. Once the results of the investigation come out, I'll decide what to do.

Hahahahahaha, "Typing in my Note 7" which one? The new or the old? Oups, Both are exploding now!!!!!!! So you buy a new phone and the in the manual they ask you to always power down the phone. Very important and innovative feature. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

126. tedkord

Posts: 17198; Member since: Jun 17, 2009

The new one. Neither exploded, by the way. Or even got warm. Still the best, most innovative phone there is. And, deep down, that's what really hurts you the most.

134. truthwins unregistered

yeah the only innovation samsung implemented in their note 7 is self detonate feature.
