I don't know how can trust Samsung !!! Instead of release new variants of phones and tablets and lately the Note 10.1, they should look into porting ICS to their exiting phones and tablets. I had a SGS1 for less than one year and before two months they confirmed NO ICS for it after several arguments. Last month I bought SG Note based on Samsung promise to have ICS during first quarter of 2012. Now we have the same play and junk from Samsung ..... Do I have to be loyal to Samsung after this crap !!!

they dont have to go through the carriers in order to update they can put the update on there website and allow people to update that way so for people to say its the carriers i doubt it more like everybody and google being a b***** and bending over and let these oems put ice in there ass wish google would assert more control over update

Wow for the people who blame the Carrier, this was for the international unbranded SGS2. That mean no carrier was involved what so ever. That just mean Samsung is slow at the update

If they weren't so sure about it, why announce it in the first place?

Oh for god sake, stop whining...If you really are so eager to get ICS, just root! The official ICS is for those who don't really care or don't see much incentive in rooting.

and to the iFans, just get back in line for the "new iPad" and gtfo

Relax guys, you'll get your update before jellybean comes out, but not after keylime pie. This I can foresee happining, but when an OEM produces a new device with an old OS as they are doing now, that my friends is inexcusable e.g. LG
