Finally held the s6 edge in my hand and OMFG it is the most beautiful phone I have ever held. Those curve just feel so good.

Who cares about how pretty a phone is if it's broken or hidden in a case ??? Sad that this has to be explained to people.

True, but thankfully the S6 edge seems to be pretty durable considering it's an all glass and metal phone for those who don't like cases. Even if there was a case on it, the curved screen is pretty much what makes everyone call if beautiful.

The S6 is fragile junk that shatters when dropped. The people that say the S6 is "durable" are either blind or clueless. I love my S4 and it has proven to be durable without a case and just a Zagg Invisishield.

I'm genuinely curious as to where you get that from. The majority, of drop tests of the s6 show it to be very durable. Of close, like any phone it's partially up to chance. Aside from that, literally no one is forcing you to buy this phone. I'm not sure if your cartoonish hatred for a small inanimate object is hilarious or sad. Is there any particular reason you can't just buy... Whatever the phone is that you like, and just be happy? You act like an S6 assaulted you or something and you have a personal vendetta.

Do you have an S6 wedged sideways in your rectum? I can't imagine any other scenario where it could be causing you as much pain as it clearly is.

The Galaxy line as a whole has been more durable than any iPhone that has and will ever exist.

lol... Apple's marketshare went down significantly last quarter. Samsung has a hit with the S6 Edge, which should keep many people from going with Chinese brands. It'll also bring over lots of people from the Apple camp. Remember, this is before the S6 came out, so it'll only get worse for Apple. The effects of a larger-size iPhone are over. Sales will decline.

they can make it back by over charging apple for the mem, screens, soc, and other things and apple will sell you the iphone 7 for 3 thousand and you will pay because your to stupid to realize your being taken advantage of.

Hm, the problem for Chinese this year, they can if they liked Say like last year make an s5 out of meter and added all the same tech and charged $259 this year, that can not do that, they can not even make a better looking phone and they can not use the same tech and so on, if Samsung keeps this tech locked down then the Chinese are out of luck

They bound to sell more units if the phone is already on discounts. Every phone carrier seems to be giving away the S6. Just to shows how desperate Samsung is with the S6.

Samsung isn't the one doing those discounts, you tool. Those are retailers competing with each other for customers. Samsung only sells their product to retailers and what retailers do with the phones they bought is none of Samsung's business. Also, I have yet to see these discounts anywhere. Please link me to them. Besides, the S6 and S6 Edge are, for the most part, sold-out in many places.

Tmobile is giving away Netflix subscription. Not sure how much Samsung has to do with that.

Yes, because they're trying to compete with AT&T and Verizon, who are also selling the S6. The S6 and the S6 Edge are selling twice as better as the S5 according to their words, so there's no "desperation" going on.

Hi For a start Samsung always does give aways with there phones and 2nd this is just T-Mobile trying to get sales over the other networks, also t-mobile was also the company that got the 1st edges to be made so will have the most problems so it's just Samsung helping them out I be thinking You are up on the phones costing more than Apple in some areas

Hopefully sheeple wallets don't meet these new expectations. If so, say goodbye to any flagship with a removable battery and SD card slot. Hope it is a while before my GS5 becomes obsolete.

Considering GS5 can be bought for $450 now, people are really buying the GS6 for vanity.

How come they can't buy theS6 because it has better specs and a nicer design? After all isn't this why the iPhone 4 sold more than all previous models of iPhone combined?

Cant know for sure. alot of the units had defects on them. if it is 70 mill, around 5 mill will have defects. I know because on forums (besides xda) alot of people are having defect models. lucky for me, i have a prestine one.

It was just the 1st ones off the making the parts, there have been no reported problems in the UK, I noted the screen covers where not the same as the ones I got in the UK, I be thinking they was contacted to look over the screens before sending them out and they did a crap job of it before sending them out

not necessarily. a person from the uk has his phones scratched as well. maybe people dont care as much in the uk.

It's good if they sold many phone it's not about to win apple but it's about fair to Emotion of the customers. But i think tim cook has a great plans for the future now. He was really expert about supply chain and marketing.
