Samsung unleashes new summer-ish Galaxy S8 commercials

Although autumn is slowly but surely on its way, Samsung doesn't want us to forget that its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are "made for summer." Thus, the company just released four short video commercials to remind us how great of a companion an S8 can be in this time of the year.

Unsurprisingly, all four new commercials - included below - involve water and/or sand, as the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are built to withstand both these elements, being IP68-certified.

While some interesting new high-end smartphones will be released in the coming months - including Samsung's own Galaxy Note 8, Apple's iPhone 8, or Google's Pixel 2 - this is not exactly a bad time to buy a Galaxy S8 or S8+. That's because both are now about $150 cheaper than at launch, and all the upcoming handsets that we've mentioned will certainly be more expensive than the S8 series. Plus, of course, the S8 and S8+ remain all-round great phones regardless of season.
