Samsung makes important changes to its app store
The Galaxy Apps store is where those with a Samsung device can find apps and games to install, in addition to the Google Play Store. It also is the place to go to load apps for Sammy's Tizen powered smartwatches. According to Samsung users posting on Reddit (via Android Police), an update is rolling out right now that gives the Galaxy Apps store a new name; henceforth it will be known as the Galaxy Store.

Additionally, the update brings the One UI interface to the storefront. This is Samsung's new UI designed to move actionable content to the bottom of the screen where it is easily reachable with one hand. We don't have to tell you how today's larger screens make it harder to tap on buttons and icons at the top of the display. One caveat: users report that it won't work with the dark mode in Android 9 Pie.

The early reviews are pretty much in favor of the new name and UI. This is a mandatory update since the old Galaxy Apps Store will no longer load. If you have a Samsung device, keep an eye out for the update, which weighs in at 20MB.
