Samsung keeps on teasing the Galaxy S IV: mob spats invade Times Square (video)

After lighting up Times Square with teaser ads about the upcoming Unpacked event in NYC, where every geek worth their salt expects them to unveil the Galaxy S 4, Samsung is now taking things live and artistic.

No, we aren't talking about Jeremy, the kid with the British accent its ad agency hired for those teaser Unpacked vids, but rather some mob dancing directly on Times Square, old school-style, with 1920s gangster spats to boot. Oh, the performers have "4" printed on the back of their coats, and the spats are classic black and white, so, duh.

UPDATE: There is now a video of the publicity stunt, so check out the festivities below.

It's not over hyped, it's just that you follow tech news. You'd be surprised at how many people have no clue there is an unveiling tomorrow.

Say no to cheap-looking phones made of plastic! Sony Xperia Z ftw! Hahahaa.. :DD Haters gonna hate but seriously your S4 cant match the dust/water resistant durable glass body of Xperia Z! ;)

Its pathetic that you guys comment on a phone before even its released. Anyhoo, even if it is, It atleast is not cheap when u look inside........cough*TFT screen*cough !! Go troll somewhere else !

You're obviously a bot from samsung! It's you who should go troll somewhere else! A TFT screen is not as awful as a cheap plastic inelegant-looking phone! :D

Well.........obviously you are one of those to whom 'looks' of the phone is of more importance rather than inside of a phone which not only is subjective but is completely inappropriate while actually looking at a phone ! Even if it is plastic you can't comment on its durability before an actual drop test ! I called you a troll because you asked people to 'say no' to a phone when its only 2 days from release and buy a different phone, without actually looking at it, which makes you not only a stupid fanboy but also puts you in a correct definition of a troll, troll !

We all know that.. "Appearances can be deceiving." But in the end of the day.. APPEARANCES MATTER! Especially with your smartphone! :DD The Sony Xperia Z is so far THE BEST OF SONY IN A SMARTPHONE! The inside of it is just as beautiful and amazing as its outside! *Aaaaand the SXZ can past drop tests! Mind you.. the elegant and durable glass body of Sony Xperia Z is tempered and has shatter-proof coating on the front and back! :)

Sure, Apperance matters but it shouldn't matter over whats inside the phone because one gets bored of apperance in a while but new and innovative tech such as Octa's and new Pholed's power saving won't be. "Best of sony in a smartphone" doesn't mean "Best of the Smartphone" ! I never said Xperia Z is not a good phone. I only pointed out the TFT screen to point out no phone is perfect ! Lastly, I dont think you are even reading by comments before posting a reply. All I am saying is why comment on a phone when its even not released yet ?

I have a point, you must admit that. It's only fair if I'll say that the Samsung Galaxy S series is a great smartphone line. It's just that I hate Samsung bcos it is overrated. And yes you're right, no phone is perfect.. even the Galaxy S series has a lot of flaws and imperfections! :)

annnnnnnnnd the fanboy finally comes out ! You 'hate' Galaxy S series says it all ! That answers my question in the past 3 posts of, why comment on a phone when a phone is not released ? I am not a Samsung fanboy or Sony's thats exactly why I wanted you to answer that question ! BTW, I dont think they would have sold so many handsets with so many flaws & imperfections but obviously my comments are falling to deaf ears !

Hahahah.. ok fiiine! I wanna shout to all the ends of the world that I despise Samsung! IT IS OVERRATED! You're comments did not fell on deaf ears! Consumers know what they want! And they're sick and tired of how cheap and "un-premium" their Galaxy smartphones look like! :D

And your perfect Z Phone has no flaws? By the way, why use the word "hate"? It shows not only bias but also makes you look retar...

Appearance is the last concern with a smartphone. Seriously, you're like my wife. I can't let her buy a car, because her entire decision will be based on color and body design. She won't look into reliability, fuel efficiency, warranty, repair cost, nothing. Just how "cute" it is. Or, how she buys things like purses. She spends $400 on a Coach purse, which is no better built or more functional than any $50 purse, but because its got the Coach logo, and other women can tell right away its a Coach.

Every phone manufacturer has those issues! And not all consumers/ users are geniuses in using their smartphones! I bet Samsung has a longer list of their own troubles since they have a looooooot of pathetic low-end "smartphones" :)

He is a blind fanboy......For a person who urges people to buy a different phone when GS4 is only 2 days from release shows his naivity !

Can your SXZ Can resist Drop test? Unless you put jellycase on ur SXZ, Even your phone made of plastic, aluminum or polycarbonate if you add jellycase that will be nothing and When your Smartphone is made of Aluminum i think it will be more hot than plastic or Poly.

OF COURSE IT CAN PASS DROP TESTS! The elegant and durable glass body of Sony Xperia Z is tempered and has shatter-proof coating on the front and back!
