Samsung is preparing low-end T209 GSM for T-Mobile?

It seems that there is a need of really cheap (preferably “free”) phones out there. The FCC approved Samsung SGH-T209, which seems to be one of these. It is a clamshell with internal antenna and white-colored housing, and operates in tri-band 850/1800/1900MHz GSM networks, which combined with its model number, makes us think that it will come to T-Mobile USA. There is still no information on its features, but Club-Java.com states it is JAVA MIDP 2.0 compatible.
