It's not a "real" smartphone? Seriously? Then, what is it? Please don't use that made up term, "phablet", either. Go troll elsewhere.

Yes, it's me again & thanks for the thumbs down once again. Your maturity precedes you. It's a smartphone, you fool. I don't understand why you hate Samsung so much. Is it because they're making a ridiculous amount of money by making great phones? Is it because your beloved HTC keeps losing market share in the US every quarter because they're not giving the consumers what they want? Or is it because your even more beloved Sony's market share in the US is damn near non-existent? Don't hate, congratulate. Be a true knight.

EDIT: For the record, I haven't thumbed you down once. I don't see the point. It's just lame.

hahaha.....things are changing my boy, things are changing :)

Dont forget one thing though......samsung gets all the attention it gets.....mainly because they are intertwined in this battle with APPLE, the one who "truly" owns the media! does that mean i like apple? well i think ive given my thoughts and feelings about them well enough lol.........Samsung is ok man i dont hate them i just think other companies are better then them such as Sony and HTC........and true companies deserve to be on top not media hungry, greedy and prideful, WILLING TO DO ANYTHING, including copy lie steal and bully there way to the top......and yes that goes for both apple AND samsung.....

and btw......i thumbed u up :)

peace man

I would (will) use it to make phone calls. Here is the scenario:

I am out of the office and I get an e-mail with an attachment. I look at the attachment and something isn't right with the attachment. I plug in my headphones with attached microphone (Bose for me, but others work just as well) and initiate a call with the Note II in split screen to open the address book app. When the person picks up, I put the e-mail attachment in full screen and tell the person on the other end where the attachment needs editing. The Note II's 5.5 inch screen is waaay better than the dinky ass screen of the iP5 that some of my co-workers are carrying around while they are being cool, so I can actually do work without having to lug around a notebook.

The above scenario happens at least once a week. I have meetings with subordinates after they have returned from Lunch. They have deliverables from the meeting. I then go to Lunch. Some of the deliverables come to me by e-mail while I am at Lunch. If it is important enough, I read the e-mail right then. The difference with my GS III is I have to exit e-mail, call the sender and then go back to e-mail. Plus, there is the slightly larger screen with the Note II.

Apparently it will work for 20 million others as well. The only reason I don't have a Note I is because it isn't on VZW. Good things happen for those who wait, or however the saying goes.

Small hands? I met one woman whose hands the iP4/4S seemed to be perfectly sized for. A Note I/II would not work well for that woman.

I hate it when Samsung gets flaked for using polycarbonate plastic like HTC yet be compared to phones built from the same material by competing manufacturers like HTC. Yes Samsung my not offer the splendid ergonomics of some of HTC's products but they make up by offering users bigger/removable batteries, expandable memory, in mostly lighter devices than their competition. You can't have it all now can you?
