How I can prove him wrong? I can't prove his opinion wrong. That's the whole point. And I like the S5. I think it's a great device (especially the camera). But you can't spout out a bunch of opinions and then figuratively "drop the mic" as though you've just proven some magical point.

How about poor build material and laggy android skin. I don't know about u but I don't want to pay a premium price for a phone that is overpriced. Not carrier subsidized price.

Let me fill that in for you... Camera = excellent, most of the time, yes! Features = Bloat, way too much useless crap, recently a survey found that nobody uses Samsung features/apps Battery life = Not more than a day usually, except for the Note-series and S5 it's pretty bad Performance= Laggy, even on a Tab Pro 8.4 with S800 I recently tried, because they refuse to do optimizations for TouchWIz Updates = S3 doesn't even get KitKat, they want you to buy the S5 Customer service = most of the time warranty is done by the store you bought it from, not Samsung Design= boring, uninspiring, copied, cheap materials, cheap feeling Durability= crap, those fake chrome bezels on Samsung phones lose paint very fast (note 3/S4), and most of them are creaky

To make a correction, only a few variants (notably the International S3 with no LTE and the Galaxy S3 Mini) did not get the KitKat update. The LTE versions all got it (because they have 2GB of RAM). Also how can you say battery life on an S5 is bad, especially on extreme power saving mode where you get 24 hours on 10% left of charge? And with the camera, the S5 has won most of the blind tests here on PA.

It's hard to deny that S5 is one of the best phone there is out there. Even it's not a phone for me, but I still think they did a good job with it and the sale sure shows it.

it's easy to eclipse time needed to ship 10 million units as they can just deliberately ship ahead of schedule to so they can claim they are faring better than last year... what they need to reveal is the units sold, which can not be manipulated.
