Yeah price this for $700 and it will sell. But if they price this for $999 then it will be flop.

Because if there's one thing iPhone users are known for, it's for being classy... ... that was sarcasm, btw.

I am totally interested in this phone if it has all the note features. For a tablet phone it should.

Good luck to anyone expecting it to be any less than $1500. More expectedly i think it will start at $2000 rather. They won't just ask the money for extremely costly components, but they will also ask the money for million of dollars that they have burned on it's development for half a decade. Plus they are expecting to sell a few thousand units, not even million. They will look to price it as much of a novelty as they can.

It will be like using s4(4.5 inch phone) with 7.3 inch display when you need.

The S4 had a 5" screen, but whatever.

As a S9+ user, I find it funny that other Samsung fans on here s**t on Apple for their prices but are okay paying $2000 for this just because the screen folds. The way things seem to be going, the last Samsung phone I touch will be the Note 9

PhoneArena never writes the whole truth. This is a niche product and will only release in limited amount, around 100000 examples only. So no, this isn't for regulars consumers device. Also the price aren't decided, all are just guesses.

They are not paying $2,000 for a phone, the phone is not even announced yet. You are paying near the top for a Samsung phone, so that price is ok. Only the Note is a little more expensive and compared to the $1,000 and up iPhones it looks great value. The folding phone will be a niche low production model so only those who really like to explore new innovative ideas at an early stage will be buying them.

A lot of consumers will be skeptic about the appearance, but trust me, it will slowly morph to a better looking phone in years to come, similar to Nokia's era.

Samsung will price the entry model between 999 and 1199. You heard it here first.
