Samsung Galaxy Watch hands-on: The new standard in smartwatches?

Today Samsung held their 2018 Unpacked event. What we didn’t see coming, though, was a proper successor to the Galaxy Gear S3 – the new Galaxy Watch! We got some time with this new device and, really, we’d be bad people to not share that experience with you. So, here you go!...

The 46mm will get about 80 hours with typical usage according to Samsung. The 168 quoted here is with major power saving features turned on. Still some great battery life though.

The Gear S3 Classic was much better looking than these current offerings, and the elimination of MST was a dumb move.

If it doesn't have MST payment then I'll keep my S3. That is one of the most useful features. I usually have my phone but when I don't it's a life saver.

What happens when you take this watch in the shower? Or go swimming with it? Does the water make the watch face freak out and start clicking lots of stuff until its dry again? Can you use it underwater at all?
