Samsung Galaxy S8 Active price and release date predictions

We've already talked about the Galaxy S8 Active, a rumored and anticipated handset that's most definitely coming pretty soon. As the name suggests, the Galaxy S8 Active will be a rugged, more durable variation of the flashy Galaxy S8. We largely expect it to drop the glass at the rear for a more rugged material that wouldn't break if you accidentally drop the phone on a hard surface. Furthermore, the curved display at the front of the Galaxy S8, albeit neat and cool, will be substituted for a flat variation that won't be as susceptible to breakage due to accidental drops. Good deal for $699. Comes in handy when on a touristic trip... wouldn't have to worry about dust and water.

Even the regular S8 is dust and water resistant. This is more for drop protection and materials which don't shatter when dropped. Rugged.

The biggest advantage of this phone over the regular S8 is battery life. If they hold true to the trend from the past 2 years, this phone will have a 4000mAh battery. That's crazy good.

If they had this for T-Mobile it would be my next. I've always wanted the Galaxy S Active versions but don't and won't get AT&T.

Man, we don't know crap about this phone. Even to this day, no firm idea of screen size or battery capacity. Weak.
