What is that font, Papyrus? That looks awful.

It's probably just a widget so you should be able to change it.

Hopefully S5 comes with a long lasting battery and a very power efficient display & processor (64bit).

I hope after QHD, they just start focusing on refining display efficiency for the next year or two, instead of continuously bumping up the resolution.

Exactly. Our eyes can't even notice the difference.

I rather paid the same amount of money for a 1440 than a 1080 phone. Haters are just being stupid.

You mean fanboys? You won't see difference in screen quality and sharpness. You will see difference in battery life and performance :) QHD in screen less than 8' is a gimmick, but you probably just love numbers. Screen quality>(too big)resolution

If everything is improved in with the new screens, especially with efficiency, why not get it when it will be priced the same? Next gen processors can handle such displays without draining battery. S3 --> S4 for example (and the S4 had a S600 instead of a S800).

Because you won't see difference without loupe and staying with fullHD will give your device even more battery life nad performance. So what is more important for you? Better battery life and performance or more pixels, when you won't see difference? Around 300 ppi is great for most people. As I remember only some of people need around 400 ppi for sharp screen.

well hopefully u can jus buy multiple micro sd cards, like a amature/pro would with a DLSR for different clients or models. and thats if u didnt wana link the phone to a personal cloud hard drive at ur home/office via ur network which u obviously have to set up to do. but most new AC routers with USB 3.0 ports have wizards to help u do that. yea u can pay for cloud storage but i think google drive n drop box provide enough, then u jus save their contents to ur Hard drive manualy via drag n drop. no need to pay.

Ummm, I meant like clips and stuff, but you can always store them on SDcard, as user below mentioned ..

i dont care, 32GB memory cards a dirt cheap as it is now days, i got a sandisk 32GB that was a UHS-1 fo 16 bucks on amazon during black friday. n they were goin for like 20 bucks the rest of the holiday season. i even gambled on a no name 32GB class 10 card for like 13 bucks (it literally had nothing printed on it, save the class 10 logo). so i put that in a lil thumb camera and it got the data down just fine. so yea. a 32 gig card per shoot aint too bad if u think bout it. if ur shootin a "Real" movie (kuz u have no other camera that can shoot in 4K, lols) buy a 64GB card, but the price of those does need to come down more b4 they become a more realistic option

NICE! With a front facing 3.2MP cam, that should allow 2.5k/QHD video recording from the front facing camera alone. The rear cam should definitely have a 4K video recorder. Hopefully, they could have increased it to records at 4K at 60fps instead of 30fps

I bet the design would look like the Note 3.

There you go. Samsung pushing the limits again with screen quality. They really do have about the best screen I have ever seen on a mobile phone and its just getting better.

I hope that HTC will improve camera. I love Amoled screens, but I don't like resolution race. QHD is good for atleast 8' tablets. I preffer better battery life and perfomance. For 5' screen I would even want only HD Amoled+(RGB) screen. Improving technology isn't bad, but I want option to choose. Soon there will be no flagships with fullHD resolution :/.

No thanks. I'll reward OEM's that make compact Android flagships like Moto and Sony with my money because I enjoy options and not just a sea of bezel-less plastic beasts all of which have the same specs on release.

Newsflash, Moto X is plastic. Another newsflash, S4 and G2 are compact for one handed use and both sport 1080p displays, PPI equaling up to 441. Nice try on taking a bash on OEMs bald man.

I assume he is talking about that gross glazed plastic, at least samsung moved to the soft touch now....big improvement in my eyes. Whats wrong with him preferring smaller flagship phones? It isn't like he was saying people shouldn't get the big beasts, just that he doesn't want every phone to become like that since those aren't the best phones for everyone. He wants choice, why wouldn't anyone want more choice?
