Samsung Galaxy S5, Note 4 and other 2014 flagships rumored to get 16 MP OIS cameras

The claims are that Samsung has already ordered 181 million optically stabilized 16 MP modules, though it doesn't specify whether to Sony or to its LSI subdivision. This, however, means we might get them in other premium models, perhaps the rumored exclusive F line, too...

O, you're so smart aren't you? While you are awake wooing all these smartphones bring, you'll forget to live life and instead focus on devices that makes you forget how to live.

So what're you doing on this site and first on the thread to comment ? BTW, what makes you think he has no life ! Some people (including myself) like new tech and that's why they visit this website. If you don't like something no need to visit the site and be the first one to comment and act like a judgemental fool when someone replies your idiotic comment !

I'm here cause i want to...and i'm not trying to post a baseless 1st comment. I happen to read and then, saw no one commented...so i commented and that's bad?? That space is for comments 1st or not...you realize that right? By the way...my first comment was meant as a sarcasm! And boo to all you who didn't get it.

You need to work on your sarcasm then. It sucks right now.

First you say: "i'm not trying to post a baseless 1st comment." And then you say: "I happen to read and then, saw no one commented...so i commented..." So basically you commented not because you had something wise to say, but because you saw that no one did that. And when someone deservedly criticize your stupid comment, you started to be offensive and talk about other person's life and say that he has no life when you also spend here a lot of time... It is just pathetic!

Given the bar that as been set by the ZlG G2 and Nexus 5, plus others, 2014 flagship phones will have to offer an improved camera function. I wonder how Apple will respond with the iP6? 5 inch full HD screen is going to be another requirement.

I love the constant improvements to the camera. The only thing I question is why aren't ALL companies working on insane battery tech???? Apple and Samsung have more than enough resources!!!

That's my question. Don't get me wrong, I think the 23-3k units in the current flag ships are alright, and decent enough, but new devices should be in the 3k range consistently.

I don't on my 5s either but wouldn't it be nice to have a full 3-5 days use on a single battery??

Cmon guys. do something else! i loved galaxy brands, but now, its just sooo .....they r building the same phones over n over! they are changing a few specs only, n try to sell me a ''new galaxy phone''. screw u sammy! i will stick on nexus 4

23. Amir1 unregistered

about flexible phones that are not gimmick, do you have a time machine that goes 10 years from now? then you will find good offers.

'stupid' samsung?? that's their decision and they will decide what they will show you. don't like it, then get something else. as if all other vendors are making holographic phones made of unicorn dust.

FM transmitter, really? go and get bluetooth devices... car stereos, portable speakers and headphones... this is what I did, you will get better sound quality and compatibility with any phone today and in the future...

I don't want to buy all those extra's when Samsung could have included it like other manufacturers. Why all the extra effort as they could have kept it simple?

"...Samsung could have included it like other manufacturers." I know that certain Nokia smartphones had it, which other manufacturers puts FM transmitters into their smartphones?

17. MrTzr unregistered

all Sony phones, G2, HTC One and Samsung's previous flagship phones.

As far as I know none of them have it!

I have a Sony Xperia and it does not have a FM Transmitter... it does have FM Radio Receiver if that is what you mean... but given that you replied to my previous advice about bluetooth it seems that you do understand the difference between Transmitter and Receiver... Anyway if you meant FM Radio I agree, Samsung should include it, but almost no manufacturer today is including an FM transmitter. Bluetooth is the way to go...

Sorry, I meant FM-radio. My bad..

I still have my old Nokia N97 Symbian phone. It has an FM tranmitter. I use it exclusively as a music player now. It's nice to be able to play my music over my portable stereo or even my car stereo. Older cars don't have BT connectivity.
