All S10 models will have factory pre-applied screen protectors. PA forgot to mention that.

If the S10 line under display Fingerprint Scanner will Not work with a Screen Protector, then what about the News of the S10 Line Shipping with a Pre-Installed Screen Protector?

I wont be happy with this at all if true. I put screen protectors on the day i buy a phone and it doesn't go with out tell the day i sale it, same with a case. I wish this craziness would have never got started. Just keep them on the back.

Been strictly using phones with in display fp scanners for almost a year now and every single one of them has had a protector since day one. The tech should work with a screen protector on it

It's different tech than the optical sensor you've been using.

Hate screen protectors. How people believe some 2 dollar piece of plastic will protect a 800 dollar phone is beyond me. Is there a name for such a crowd? Can we get one? ScreenProtectorSheep? Have a feeling the S10 is going to feel amazing in hand. Will be a hard toss up between the Note 9 and S10.

You hate them, fine But some of us like them. Every phone i have had since the s3 has had a case and screen protector from day one on and when i go to resale them they still look new and i got top dollars for every one of them. I also buy the best i can, not a $2 one.

Who wears Screen Protectors? That's like wearing a condom and we all know there is no fun in that

Whether you like it or not. As for the techonology stands right now, Screen Protector or tempered glass protector is still a must. Samsung’s curve glass phones most likely to break when accidentally drop. Samsung new sensor not working with the screen protector, if its true..will be a deal breaker for some or most People. And Samsung Phones doesn’t age well. Galaxy S8 is about 2 year old but many of them already has Screen issues like Dark spots, Screen burned, Green Vertical lines, broken glass, Heavily scratched finger print sensor. But at the end of the day it is still your money, so you still decide. Don’t let the stupids here in the comment section affect your decision.

Welp my plans of pre-ordering just went out the window. I’m Not buying any device that can’t be protected unless I want to lose functionality

That's not good. Was so looking forward to the S10, but this is a deal breaker. I guess long live the S9. I'll stick with that for the foreseeable future if this truly turns out to be the case.
