Lol mate I have tried to explain that very simple logic 100's of time but no matter how simple you put it they never accept is it that hard to understand a simple logic such as if you want ios you MUST get apples iPhones but if you want android you get to choose between several OEM' with that logic all ios sales goes to apple there fore they reach such high numbers for the iPhone...with android not all sales goes to Samsung or HTC therefore its much harder for android to reach sales like the iPhone with a sinle device because inside the android itself has its share...seriously is it that hard to understand...think of it this way aswel inside androids own market there are several OEM's...inside ios market there is only apple...can't get any more simpler than that...

Apple is such a crappy company. All they care about is making as much profit as possible. It's disgusting that they have so much cash on hand, and they can't consider paying they're slaves in China a little more money so they don't have to commit suicide. I know other companies use foxconn too, but most companies are way in the red while Apple has 100 billion cash in the bank. Seriously wrong and shameful.

welcome to the club, my friend..i've been disgusted by apple because of so many things for years now, and this one is on top of the pile. that being said, the fact is apple doesn't decide about the paychecks of foxconn's workers. foxconn does. but apple still could've done a huge deal of things to improve the situation

gs2 is such a game changer. without gs2 success, gs3 won't be achieving these numbers. this is one of those 'history' in the making..

and the SGS2 wouldnt have had such a groundswell without the SGS1.. and the SGS4 wouldnt without the SGS3.. its a self feeding process. Had there not been crazy enthusiasm in the iOS community already for the previous apple models, the i4s would not have been such a success. If it was a brand new phone with those specs and that little screen competing against the android monsters, most people would have ignored it.

Memo to Legal Department: Start working on a rectangle patent filing. Be quick, we need to block import of this now. T. Cook

IF this pans out as true, I wonder what track the iRationalizing will take? I can think of several possibilities: 1) Denial: "It just isn't true, Samsung is lying." 2) Prognostication: "Most of them will be returned anyway after people see how laggy they are." 3) Deflection: "How are those Android tablets selling?" 4) Prevarication: "Android and Samsung are only selling that many phones because they are copies of the iPhone." 5) Prediction: "The iPhone 5 will sell twice as many." 6) Just flat out ignoring the events. Did I miss any?

I did indeed forget one. Obfuscation: "Well, Apple makes more money than Samsung."

It kinda sucks that this has already proven false :(. Sales to carriers, not actual consumers. Play again next time?

blah, you guys are living in the past, haha, Mali t605 will have 600mhz stock clock speed and will be about 3 times faster than mali in sgs3. and mali t658 with a quad core a15 CPU - now that will be the king of all mobile SoC's. and it will be out in phones in 2013

Preorders... they thought like the most of us that it was going to be a superb phone... most of those preorders will not reach the consumer or it will be lots of return the day after launch....

will see about that considering pre orders for customers started the week it was announced for many countries,it makes sense the carriers are pre ordering because there own pre orders by customers are high...also remember samsungs customers are the carriers so either way thats 9 million sales for them....dont know why you hate on anything thats not apple mate whats wrong with people enjoying non apple products...finally the s3 will beat s2 sales lol i remember the same thing was said about the note and look how well thats done...i mean hey if the 4s sold tonnes then the s3 will have no trouble

I dont hate... but thats preorders... the SGSII is better in my mind the the SIII, I expected more from Samsung thats all.. just like I will be mad at Apple if I they dont innovate or bring a great product.. now is the SGSIII talk to me on Oct when the iphone 5 comes out

Lol you were happy with the 4s and that was barely a change...also to say the s2 is better than the s3 is just silly...that's like saying the 4 is better than the 4s...also pre orders by the carriers is still a sale for Samsung...if you going to wait for the 5 then we might aswel wait for the s4...just like how the 4s just matched the s2 the ip5 at max will match the s3...Apple have not led in spec for a long time

I was happy with the 4S because I dint have the iphone my mind the SGSII was ground breaking.. expected the same as the SGSIII.. samsung even expended more money advertising the Note than the SGSIII... not going to buy the i5 because I have an agreement but if I figured it out just might.. but you are right the SGSIII is for owners of the SGS1 like the ip4s was to the ip3Gs

in that case kinda agree with you that if you have the s2 then you dont need to update but i still think the upgrade from the s2 to the s3 was better than the 4 to the 4s...lets see the difference between 4 and 4s was camera, improved cpu and siri...s2 from the s3 was camera, cpu,s voice, redesign, better screen,s beam, smart stay so i would say there is more incentives for s2 owners to move to the s3 than there was for ip4 owners to move to the 4s..hardwares have become good enough that its all about sw now and thats what i think the s3 has improved stay and direct call may seem like a novelty features but its one of those things that overtime becomes useful.

Imagine if this is released globally - it'll smash the record by 5 million units

Phone does look nice, but im still not giving up my sexy white Galaxy Note. I do think its funny and sad irony that Verizon is once again giving the finger to so many customers by not having the S3 on their network. I don't regret leaving them last month after being a customer all these years with them, pay early term fee and getting my Note on AT&T. Bye bye red V

But Samsung makes most of the componants for their devices and has a firm grip on their supply chain . . . because of this they can still keep their prices low.
