Unexpected. Looks like Note 9 is right choice over Note 8/S9. But X & Note 9 both captures great pics.

I was surprised that the iPhone made picture 2 and 3 better imo. Picture 1 is equally good depending on what the focus was. The house looked better on the note and the walls better on the iphone. I'd like to see note 9 vs p20/xz2 premium especially low light shots

Is it me or PhoneArena swapped Galaxy Note 9 picture for iPhone X.. picture A and F were taken by Galaxy Note 9. See pictures taken by note9 earlier https://www.phonearena.com/news/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-9-first-camera-samples-review-comparison_id107746#image-328190

I agree, was thinking the same thing. Somebody messed up. This looks like a flat out note 9 win across the board. Weird.

They weren't the same shots, at least not taken at the same time although they were able to capture much better shots with the note in the earlier sample shots. Again, PA changed the field of view at least in some of the shots which changes the color temperature of the shot. Camera comparisons are not PAs strength.

I too noticed similar thing. Looks like PA messed with it.

They didn't swap it for iPhoneX, they just intentionally pick the worst Note 9 photo from the same scene for this poll. Note 9 would clean sweep this comparison if they use the photo from that gallery. (and Lord Apple wouldn't like it)

Both do good job. But scene 6. Ugh. Hide that pic.

I'm amazed that the iphone won scene 1. Colors are very unnatural(like somebody played with the contrast and structure sliders) and highlights are too blown out. In scene 3 the iphone did better but it's only a matter of exposure. Overall in low light it's obvious that the Note 9 is miles better. It's not even a contest.

Even my Galaxy s7 takes better photos than iPhone x. Tested with my friend who had iPhone x. He acknowledged it.
