As soon as someone states they have a lot of money one thing is for certain, they don’t have a lot of money.

Well seeing how he stated it first I guess he doesn't have much just like I thought. I don't give a f**k what you believe.

100% excellent response sissy. Let em, while you do you. Don’t ever stoop to their level, by proving stuff to them.

Well, If you had checked your facts properly, you would know that Aug 23 was the announcement date of the Note 8. Sales began Sep 15. Thus a July announcement for the Note 9 and a mid-August release would be considered pretty early.

Note 8 was late but typically notes are released mid-august.

There have been two Notes (Note 7, Note 5) released in August. All devices prior to those have seen early September announcements and late September/October release dates.

Samsung does make great phone, but then battery life and rate at which updates are released are disappointing. Waiting for Nokia to enter the Flagship game and then I'll make my decision.

Love the battery in my note 8. Maybe I don't use hard battery draining apps but the 8 1/2 to 9 hours I get is great for me. I agree, updates are slow and I buy my phone for what it is at the time, update are a extra perk when they come.

So it's greatest improvement is Bixby 2.0? I see many holding out for next year's note, and this having a similar fate of the S9, mild upgrade equaling mediocre sales. Not hating just saying it out loud

I'm just going to set things straight here. The Galaxy S9 isn't as big of an upgrade as the Galaxy S8, but the Galaxy S8 was a design overhaul of the S7. The Galaxy S9 isn't a design overhaul, it's an improved version of the design the S8 introduced. However, if you look at the actual hardware improvements, then the Galaxy S9 is a substantial upgrade. The Galaxy S9 is a more substantial upgrade to the S8 than the iPhone 6s was to the iPhone 6, or the iPhone 7 to the iPhone 6s. Smartphone manufacturers aren't going to release a fundamentally new smartphone every year, but Samsung seems to make major changes every second year, which is much more often than companies like Apple or Sony.
