Samsung Galaxy Note 7 replacements still have issues with overheating batteries

A Samsung spokesperson stated that the issues many customers complain are “completely unrelated to batteries” and that they are just isolated cases that have something to do with the mass production issues...

He's not saying it isn't a Samsung issue. All he was doing was acknowledging the small issues the iPhone 7 launch has had, and there have been a few. In no way does that divert attention away from Samsung.

Thanks. That's all I was saying. I use both platforms but my 6s plus is my daily driver. The 7 looks good but not enough for me to upgrade this year. I'm sure the small issues will clear up.

@nctx77 Quote: "This battery gate thing is on a whole different level of any gate in the past" FALSE! The iPhone has caused the DEATH of many people. A single #deathgate outweights all of Samsung's #batterygate which, so far, hasn't killed anyone.

Yeah, I died while using my iPhone. As a matter of fact, I'm posting this from the other side. I'm sure glad I bought those bluetooth headphones before I checked out. I'd post a pic, but cameras don't work out here.

Again, you keep spreading misinformation. The death of the alleged Chinese girl, was Not caused by Q/C by Apple, but by the consumer not following recommendations. Unlike Samsung, whom built a complete defective device. In this case the consumer decided, to use a third party charger. Also, it just happen to be China. Samsung problems are being reported WW, including the US. Footnote Apple didn't lose 20 billion, and more to come

iPhone 7/ 7 plus doesn't has any issue only camera software issue and they fixed it already with update 10.2. Try out the iPhone 7 plus excellent performance.

Mines is fine. I use the fast charger and the fast wireless one. It runs cooler than my last Samsung phone. I still gets about as warm as any other phone. There could be a number of issues with phones getting hot of any kind. Not a big deal. Depending on what some consider hot

Include me in that list. I think Samsung is driving the tech game. Battery issue aside, their lineup is better than the murderers row Yankees of 1927.

Whoa!! Dark, those are fighting words bro. No one is allowed to use the 27 Yankees in a same sentence as anything else. I don't care if your describing Ala himself

LMAOOOOO! Ok the 98-2000 Yanks. Man do I miss Jeter dude. I was watching his highlights the other day. The dive into the stands, the flip, the leaping twisting fire on to first for the out. The captain is missed.

I'm living in the real world with the best phablet on the planet. No heat issues, but then my original one never heated up, either.

Kinda confused since 2015 best phone was the iPhone 6 until the 6s came out which subsequently was the best phone of 2016 until the iPhone 7 :3

If the replacement batteries also gives problems, then it is NOT AT ALL good for Samsung

Batteries warm up as they charge, even more so when fast charging. Unless the new batteries also start failing catastrophically I'm going with people being a little paranoid and overly sensitive to Note 7 temperature fluctuations.

Samsung needs Apples scientists to show them how to safely implement fast charging. Samsung relies too much on outside sources to do the R&D for their products, that's why these major f-ckups happen.

You read that correctly. Think kiddo; Samsung can't develop anything remotely as good as Apples A10 chip, heck even the A9 is beyond their grasp. Samsung can't develop their own OS (and don't even try bringing up Tizen-when your Note 7 or 5 or S7 or whatever turns, on, I'll refer you to the "powered by android" boot up animation). Samsung is so far behind Apples R&D efforts it's laughable.
