Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Note II vs Note specs comparison: notable evolution

0. phoneArena posted on 04 Sep 2013, 14:03

Since Samsung's Note family is in a league of its own when it comes to the phablet realm, thanks to the embedded S Pen stylus, we can't really compare with open heart the newly announced Note 3 with the likes of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, for example, as they evidently fall into different user categories. We can, however, compare to the previous edition, the Note II, and see what's changed in terms of size, specs and S Pen functionality. We are also throwing in the original Note - not for kicks and giggles, but to follow the evolution of the Note phablet family since its introduction...

Yeah it's a nice evolution but the looks.... WOW I can't say it enough, the Samsung Galaxy Note III is just beautiful.

To be honest I don't want real leather at all - but most of all I don't want thing that pretend to be something it would never be. It looks stupid - like fake leather case stick to the backside of the phone.

So you say you don't want fake leather and you don't want the real thing? Sounds to me like you don't have anything else to say and you're just trolling. Let me guess you want "Teh Metall removiball buck plate!"

Yes. I don't like fake things. Samsung has got a real problem with its design.

The chances of you owning something imitation right now are pretty high. We all can admit to this. Doesn't matter if it's just food

This is high-end flagship - like Mercedes-Benz S-klasse. This is a question about Samsung Design, not about killing animals (and everyone here don't eat meat...sure). For me, this decision was stupid. Hope that Note 3 is "LAG" free

While I'll admit that I'm kind of perplexed by the decision of Sammy to use faux leather for a back cover.. If it feels good in the hand and looks decent, then it's OK with me.

Besides, the great thing about the Note 2 has been that there is a huge variety of back covers available for the phone for cheap. I expect that to continue with the Note 3.

Stupid comment. It is like you drinking orange flavored Soda. Did you know it is not real oranges ? You are just trolling because people buy and they know it is fake. It is the style which counts, if you would not want to destroy nature.

You're wrong. When you're drinking Orange juice you want it to be real with real fruit juice. If you drinking soda - you want a soda with falvoured you choose.

I don't care about the leather. I needed aluminium frame, but now will buy the Z1, and maybe next year if S5 is going to be aluminium , then I'll upgrade to S4.

Baby girl you're one of the reasons that Samsung keep making the "Note Series", Skinnier and skinnier. I still love my "FAT" 16:10 ratio display screen over 16:9.

Sent from the original galaxy note 1.

Then you please wait to release HTC One MAX... Forget about the 3 GB Ram of Note lll, HTC One Max is better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3....with design and all....just a difference in RAM and Camera, but rest of all features will cover Note 3 and One Max will beat NOTE 3!!! Moreover, you have one more option still there... Acer Liquid S2 !!! ...The best smart phablet for the year...! And it is the best more than HTC One Max and Samsung Galaxy Note III

Once again Samsung nails it. I just love how they listen to consumers. Sure they make some mistakes but you can guarantee they will fix it the next time. This phone puts all other phone before it to shame and I highly doubt this new iPhone coming soon will even match it. (Prob beat it in sales). But Wow great phone Samsung. have the Note 2. Won't be upgrading cause this is still a great device can't wait for android 4.3

Isn't it USB 3.0 on the Note 3?
