Because they likely reduced the bezels or eliminated them. in many Samsung previous models, the phones got smaller with revisions, and yet had larger displays. Typically in all cases they reduced the bezels.

You probably mean "higher" screen to body ratio - not less

I love the industrial shalt design, very structured and futuristic. Shame about the headphone jack, hopefully that omission will be worthwhile.

Wow, looks like all love new design (inspired by iPhone X).

Inspired by iPhone X because of the vertical camera? Reminds me more of Sony design combined with Huawei.

I'd say it is reminiscent of the blackberry priv minus the slider keyboard obviously

Curve display is useless!! It causes way too many issues.

The only reason I stayed with sammy was the headphone jack... if they remove it it's bad news.

Go to LG then right? It's an industry trend. All flagship phones will lose it.

The Note Line is officially Dead. Definitely a true extension of the S Line. Exact same specs, minus headphone jack, and outdated camera tech. I'll keep my Note 9 until the S11s come out.

People say the hole is not worsr as the notch. The difference between this and p30 pro is the fact the cam circle is not connected to the frame. There is no other difference.

Looks like an Xperia xz1 minus the bezels

Which is not a bad thing at all, the omni balance design is one of my all time fave designs along with the iPhone 5 and s8

Don't count on it. Google will disappoint like always.

Not a fan of the centered punch hole but will get used to it like I did with my s10+. Looking forward to the update

Won't buy it...taking away stuff but having flagship price doesn't make economical sense

If note 10 looks exactly lik this render, i will sell my kidney and get this...! I hate those rounded corners and its an amazing blend of note series with nokia N series back in the days

This is a R_E_N_D_E_R, not an official device or even leaked device. This is the creation of an artist based on available rumors. Yet, the article uses phrases like ... "renders leak" - Leak? " our very first look at what the standard Galaxy Note 10 will look like" - Will? "upcoming flagship ditches the horizontal camera" - Ditches? etc etc. Joshua, maybe I missed it. But, is there anything in this piece letting readers know that this is a MOCK-UP? The way this is written uses certainty after certainty after certainty. I love renders and mock ups as much as anyone. And I know that journalism standards in the web age have been loosened dramatically to put it lightly. But, dang, should some kind of disclaimer about the fabrication be written somewhere?

As with all Steve Hemmerstoffer leaks and as mentioned in the article, these renders are based on CAD files for manufacturing. It's not a mockup based on rumors.

Sony: f**k my phone, right?

I love this new design, looks a bot Sony-ish, bordering on the older Nokia models. My only preference is to have a fully flat screen. Over time and a lot of curved screen usage, I have come to appreciate a fully flat screen. More functional, if not better looking.

WAIT a minute! Are those symmetrical bezels with no chin top and bottom?? Give me 2!
