Samsung Galaxy NEXUS vs S II vs Motorola DROID RAZR vs iPhone 4S: spec comparison

The last 24 hours, or let's just call it the last couple of weeks, have been kind of crazy. After the iPhone 4S was unveiled, now we have two brand new top notch devices in the Android camp and a major update of Google's platform. You know what that brings up...

But none of us has actually held the two devices. How do you know the Razr isn't an awkwardly cobbled mess of metal, plastic and Kevlar and the Nexus isn't made from the highest quality plastics?

truth is no one knows what any of them feel like just yet but based on what we know the RAZR is bound to have superior feel and durability. i mean it combines the right design aspects of the Photon and the Droid X. what could be wrong with that?

You're likely gonna have to wait for CTIA Jan 2012.

the reason Android doesnt have games like Infinity Blade on it is because most iOS game devs are too lazy or untalented or scared of piracy to port to Android.

or maybe they get a special kickback or higher % per app sold to stay loyal to iOS. Thats what i'd do to keep Epic on my team and my team only :)

And a note to PhoneArena, that Smackdown logo looks EXACTLY like WWE's SMACKDOWN! logo. You might want to change it before they sue you for copying LOL

A little perspective: Razr is only on Verizon, in the US while SGS II is available around the world and everywhere else in the US but Verizon...

phonearena is full of android trolls...no wonder everyone hates on the leader of them all, the all mighty iphone. sales reliability not having to freeze not having to do master resets every other day at least knowing that your phone keeps it's value even though it's been out for awhile. iphone 3gs has more value than a htc evo 3d and thunderbolt and bionic in ebay? you got to love the value on this bad boys, they literally just pay themselves off every year. I only bought 1 iPhone out of pocket...everything else has been from reselling my phone every year...with Android...well if you can get $150..I guess that's good...for the trolls.

I love the s2 because it has the hardware and it is priced right. I don't really trust Motorola and Nexus S specs is dismal to me that I'll rather wait for s3 if rumors of its specs are true. Also I am not into Apple and its ecosystem and the price is way over what you get. This opinion comes from a Nokia N8 user.

Okie If it's not SJ passaway the iPhone 4s wouldnt be that great of a sales! and then the iPhone 5 and that's all Apple can get. (iPhone 5 is the last project that SJ was involved) he did indeed die in perfect time to save Apple. I'm not being mean or dis-respect SJ but that's my opinion. Anyone else have the same thought as I am ?

i just returned my bionic 2 days ago because my 14 day's where up. i had the iPhone 4 sold it got great money for it. i got 4 iphone4s's for the wife and kids and have to say its a great phone. now for the funny part i am using an old bb tour because i had said to my self that i would take a year off from apple to see what happens in the future. i always loved droid's and for some reason i always come back to android. and now i can't wait for the new phones not sure which one i will get but i do hope that the nexus is released along side the razor. I am a tried and true apple lover in my home we are all apple macbook's iPad's and what ever else is apple. Sure siri is nice and apple make a great quality product but at the end of the day the phone we choose are based on features and specs we like to have. all i am reading is the apple people defending there product and the droid defending theres i am buy the droid because it a nice new update i am sure it will have its bugs, in the end its all about who markets the best btw.

There is something that has to be taken into account ,now the main phone company in my country Costa Rica, they started this year to sell the iphone 4 ,they're offering a lower price than the one on the street and about 150 usdollars less, also brought the iphone 3gs at the same time but it is obvious that the people are going to choose the iphone 4 instead of the 3gs,as they fell behind in sales of the 3gs what they did was to offer it free with the package of 500 min, while the Galaxy Ace was 88USdollars on the same package of minutes , then the most obvious is that people are going to take the free iphone , is this kind of deceptive marketing that apple makes to sell their products and like many of you have said as long as it have an apple logo people would buy it just for been fashionable,i played with my wife's iphone for like 20 min adjusting the settings for her and that was it is soooooo boring to use is interface is soo monotonuos that is not fun at all.

Looks like my contract is expiring at the perfect time, so many great phones to choose from. But how can anyone seriously put the iphone 4s in the same category as these 3 phones, that's insane!!

Although I prefer the higher screen resolution (and ICS) of the Nexus, according to the PhoneArena phone comparison tool, the Nexus is missing the following features (that the Galaxy S II has): Scratch-resistant glass Video light FM Radio (with RDS) World Clock, Stopwatch, Countdown timer, Memo Extendible Memory (micro SD slot) HDMI SyncML DLNA Haptic feedback Unfortunately, that's quite a few "missing" features. Is this list accurate? (Another side-by-side comparison: http://worldofphones.net/?p=7718)

it'll receive HDMI connectivity with MHL just like the GSII i'm sure. dude...it'll have haptic feedback. are you kidding me with the rest? what a waste of time.

wait.. no gorrilla glass????

Why would scratch-resistant glass, a micro-SD slot & an FM radio be considered a "waste of time"? (Personally, I like to listen to National Public Radio...without eating up any data.) And I hope it does indeed support HDMI...I was just noting the lack of these features being listed in PhoneArena's comparison specs (http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Samsung-GALAXY-Nexus,Samsung-Galaxy-S-II-AT-T/phones/5595,5639). (It doesn't list OTA updates being present in the Nexus either...but I thought that might be wrong.)

one the display is curved so i wouldn't really worry about scratches so much. two it has 16GB of internal storage which should be enough especially being that there's so many cloud services available and it"s 4G LTE. three FM Radio? really? just use Internet Radio or something already.

lol.. im hell on phones.. i NEED that gorrilla glass. I dont ever wanna have a full glass display again.. lol

1) The curved display won't prevent scratches if the phone is accidentally put in a pocket/bag/purse next to a set of keys, for example. 2) Using the phone to record videos (or LOTS of photos) can eat up GB’s quickly...it would be ne nice to be able to swap out cards, especially if you are unable to upload your media to "the cloud". I'd gladly sacrifice a fraction of a mm for the option of being able to swap out my own micro-SD card. 3) Not everyone has all-the-time access to internet service (much less unlimited data or LTE), like while traveling to remote areas or during a hurricane, when I haven’t had phone service at all.... Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and usage behavior...not everyone uses a belt clip or lives in the cloud.

1. then don't put it in a bag next to keys? if you do that that's your own fault. 2. i'm sure you'll be able to go home and unload your pictures and videos before you fill up whatever is left of your 16GB after your apps are downloaded. xD 3. yeah, good luck trying to get an FM Signal on your phone during a hurricane. i'm sure using their phone as a walkman is what everybody plans to do when they run up their data for that month. can never forget to mention that. yeah but the site isn't going to think about YOUR extra nitpickings especially if you're not going to even try having a cloud.
