I think Galaxy Nexus will be for me, aside from the camera (hey I'm constant) everything looks good and the features I wanted from custom skins seem to be build in now, but one review or two wont hurt, All I know Santa Has an android Smartphone for me this Christmas

I meant like "android, apple, samsung" tags you see at the top if we could see more specific tags like "nvidia, concept, patent etc"

Oh. heheh. Yeah. We need a "patent" tag now? Ugh.

if there are a lot of articles about it then it needs a tag, it assures easy search

I just think it's sad that there are enough articles on the patent war to warrant a tag.

A better comparison would be Galaxy Nexus vs Moto RAZR vs HTC Vigor/Rezound vs iPhone 4S. The Galaxy SII is too old now.

when all those phones are stronger than the galaxy2, then u can say that. its the oldest, but its still the strongest in every department except screen resolution.

the Galaxy Nexus might be stronger than the Galaxy S II at the moment because it has an underclocked OMAP4460 which has a higher clocked GPU than the 4430 and it's running stock ICS which is better optimized for multi-core processors. Engadget even says it feels much snappier than their Galaxy S II but i'm sure that could be said about any stock dual-core device. also i'd say the Droid Razr beats out the GSII with it's thin & durable design and it's screen.

how can anything possibly be smoother then a gs2? that's got to just be someone's imagination.

Same way people say about Apple. "Oh my god the iPhone has the smoothest UI ever!!" "Oh my god the iPad is so much smoother than the iPhone!!" "Oh my god the iPad 2 is even smoother than the iPad 1!!! WHAT THE FCK IS GOING ON WHY IS IT SO SMOOTH" Yeah, that.

It has to be. Right now I would take the SGSII. Proven track record on device and development for ROMS.

I'm sure once the Rezound gets announced, there will be a Verizon-specific Razr-Rezound-Nexus-(sadly)4S comparo.

Galaxy Nexus will be refined and enhanced, bring on the Samsung Galaxy S3! It will probably be 6 months or more. Then again, the whole game could change before then.

I won't pay $300 tor a phone with a 2yr contract. I paid $150 for my at&t gs2 at amazon and thought that was expensive. I feel like if I'm going to pay $100 a month for 2 years to a carrier that my phone should be free. Verizon's New $299 pricetag on new phones won't fly with me.

100 x 20 months is $2,000. $2150 vs. 2300 is NOT that big of a difference. if you like a device enough and want it at launch, paying 7% more up front for the total cost of device plus usage should not be that big of a deal.

It is alot of money upfront though. that is $350 out of your pocket right away!

So wait a few weeks and buy it on Amazon or elsewhere. The Bionic is already down to $220 for upgrade there and was free for new accounts this week. Those who can't wait have to pay a premium. Welcome to the world.

yea amazon is for sure the right place to buy a new phone. They are usually even $50 or so cheaper at launch then the carriers. Wait a week or so and you will probably save $100 or so. I love amazon.

And your complaining? In New Zealand the Galaxy SII is $699 on a $100 24month contract. I should be complaining!
