Although most of us are more interested in what Samsung plans to offer customers in terms of high-end products, the vast majority of people are buying entry-level and mid-range devices.

So, let's take a look at one of the cheap smartphones that Samsung is likely to introduce next year: the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018). Also known as Samsung SM-J250F, the device was recently spotted at Geekbench, a benchmark database the collects results from smartphones that may or may not have been released yet.

According to the listing at Geekbench, Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) is equipped with a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and 1.5GB RAM. We've also been able to learn the smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but we can't confirm the same version of the OS will be pre-loaded on the final version of the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018).

Since the smartphone briefly appeared in another benchmark, we can also add more details to the list of specs like the fact that it will feature dual-SIM support. Naturally, it's too early to talk about price and availability, but this one should cost more than $150.
