Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) shows up in hands-on video, leaves nothing to the imagination

It looks like we're very close to another Samsung launch considering the number of leaks concerning the unannounced 2018 Galaxy A series. We believe there will be at least two new Galaxy A smartphones unveiled in the coming weeks, but they might not be available in all regions.

One of the phones that we've already talked about quite a few times, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) has just appeared in a hands-on video. Despite the fact that Samsung hasn't yet announced the middle-class handset, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) stars in a 3-minute video that shows the phone from all sides.

Although the production is a bit cringe, at least the image quality is more than decent (with some exceptions, you'll see) to allow us to make an idea of what's to come. Besides handling the phone in the video, the person who managed to get this hands on the Galaxy A8+ (2018) is also offering us the full list of specs.

As expected, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED full HD (2220 x 1080 pixels) Infinity Display. There's a single 16-megapixel camera on the back side with f/1.7 aperture and OIS (optical image stabilization), while in the front there's a dual-camera comprising of 16MP and 8MP snappers.

At the core of the phone, Samsung added 2.2GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 processor, 6GB RAM, and 64GB of expandable memory (up to 256GB). The phone is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging and features IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Finally, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is included as well.

Apparently, the phone will be available for purchase in many countries by the end of December for a whopping price of $600. We're not sure about the accuracy of these details (price and release date), so take it with a grain of salt for now.
