I a more of a software guy hence me putting the nexus over the sgs2. That being said I would rather have the htc evo 3d over the thrill. It being a lg handset really turns me off and the note is just to big lol. And I didn't know we were considering phones not sold in america or phones that are unreleased and no announcement being made that they will be released ever. LOL

the Note? Its already passed the FCC with ATT bands on board.

The LG part of the thrill makes me nervous but the reviews seem pretty good.. besides, XDA can fix all of that :)

Let me play too:

4- Everything else
3- iPhone4S
2- SGS2
1- Galaxy Nexus

As much as Verizon and everyone rave at the RAZR and Rezound, going to the store will set you off from them.

What is there to dislike about the RAZR - the display resolution/pixels....lack of removable battery?

I'm very annoyed that the GSII is beating the Nexus in ANY categories. I've been waiting FOREVER to get a phone because every phone that comes out has a major flaw... Anything by Motorola has a crap camera and mediocre video. I wanted an Evo forever ago when it was the most polished phone... Except in my mind Sprint, and their network, sucks and will ALWAYS suck. Most other phones were too bulky or had something major wrong with them. (crap call quality, tons of bloatware, major lag) The SGII was the first phone in forever that, when doing my research seemed to be what I was looking for and didnt lack in any major area... Until those #$%#@$%(*#$%'s at Verizon decided they were too good for it and needed their own "better" version. Couldn't just do the GSII AND the Nexus now could they?? Now all this Nexus GARBAGE. Its looking like the Nexus isnt superior to the GSII and is predictably inferior in a couple areas. And don't give me ICS since the GSII will end up with it anyways. So didnt release the GSII and is making us wait around... for WHAT?! Grrrr.....

I agree completely! I have yet to find a phone worth upgrading from my original Droid X. I was very excited about the GS2 and was left disappointed. I would love a Galaxy Note, but that is no where to be found except eBay for $900 and I would be stuck using ATT 3.5G or T-Mobile edge.

The Galaxy Nexus seemed like a sure bet when it was announced, but with performance like this I will have to wait for the first round of Nvidia T3 phones. I'm tired of waiting, but the longer I wait the less I want a mediocre phone.

Understandable, sadly the perfect phone still doesn't exist =/ For example I've put an aluminium casing to the sgsII, just need to wait ICS for it and I'll have something interesting. Hopefully they remove the software buttons during the porting as sgsII doesn't need them (google said that can be removed).

As for the iphone, it's the usual story...it's like a factory set car that works nicely but remains the same until its death. Android it's like a gran turismo tweaked car that needs some experience in order to get it working: if you know how to set it up will run smoothly otherwise you'll crash.

Basically with android you're the pilot, with iOS the co-pilot or even just a passenger. Someone likes to be active, someone else passive - matter of choice, two different worlds - take your pick. I prefer to be "active" :p

yeah I had the OG droid and switch to the gs2 on sprint. Luckily sprint is really good around my area better than verizon's actually... but yeah I switch and never regret it. Nexus is going to have only 1 thing over the gs2 and that's the updates other than that I can't see any major ups. Had apple come up with the actual iphone 5 I might have thought about it but since they did the epic fail move of the year I just didn't bother. But you can't just keep waiting, better tech will always be around the corner like the gs3, ip5, etc...

Sprint can't ever beat Verizon even at their best. what you mean is Sprint works more reliably in your area than Verizon which i find that hard to believe because Sprint has been having some major data issues.

Well, what can I say...4S rocks again with ONLY 800MHz! Best camera, best display, best battery, best OS, best design and soon again best browser with the release of HTML iOS 5.02.

Best battery? In theory. I can introduce you to a few customers of mine who would disagree heartily. Best display? Anything's crisper if you make it small enough. People are constantly wowed by the gigantic yet brilliant displays on the Galaxy S2 variants. Best camera? I'll grant that. Best OS? If you consider an app list an OS, then sure. I mean, Apple f**ked up at least a couple of the improvements iOS 5 and the 4S were supposed to bring. For instance, the notification tray on iOS 5 doesn't display any icons to let you know there are notifications to begin with until you expand it. See also battery life issues.

Best design? Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for the only phone in the industry that has complete glass front and back, sure. If you're looking for a phone that will actually survive more than a five foot drop without the face and/or back looking like it acquired a Spiderman theme, then not on your life. It's not the thinnest, strongest, most ergonomically comfortable, prettiest or most unique design out there.

Did I miss anything?

not even in theory. The SGS2 is rated higher out of the box and destroys it in real world usage. :)

It's not even the Galaxy Nexus that much though. It's ICS. Just like when you went from Froyo to Gingerbread all the phones benchmarks improved massively. When the GSII, Rezound, and Razr all get ICS they'll beat the i4s as well.

what's disappointing about the Nexus? it's everything i've hoped for and more.

5. Rezound
4. iPhone 4S
3. Galaxy S II (Exynos Variants)
2. Droid Razr
1. Galaxy Nexus

really the only 2 phones that i'd probably take over my Droid 3 is the Droid Razr and the Galaxy Nexus so i guess that really makes it number 3 for me but that's just personal preference.
