Rugged Samsung Galaxy S8 Active to be launched by Sprint

Sprint may plan to start selling the S8 Active on November 17, asthis is the date that's seen on the smartphone's home screen (for a closer look, zoom in on the image embedded on the left). However, for now, there'sno confirmation on this.

Most likely, Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will offerthe same features that the AT&T version has, including a Snapdragon 835processor, fingerprint scanner, a 5.8-inch flat display with 1440 x 2960 pixels,and a very capable 12 MP rear camera. Plus, of course, the phone should bewater-resistant and drop-resistant (from up to 5 feet).

Like AT&T, Sprint will probably sell the Galaxy S8 Activefor around $800. In case you're wondering, this won't be Sprint's first high-endrugged phone from Samsung, as the carrier also had a Galaxy S5 Sport some yearsback.
