Rogers to launch Motorola Moto X in Canada as an exclusive

0. phoneArena posted on 05 Jul 2013, 17:09

A leaked internal document from Canadian carrier Rogers shows that the mobile operator will carry the Motorola Moto X as an exclusive in the country; the eagerly awaited Moto X will run over Rogers' 4G LTE pipeline and is expected to be launched next month. We could hear more about the handset next Monday, July 11th, if Motorola did indeed leave a hint with its first ad for the phone as we told you on Thursday...

It has the Adreno 320, so games will play extremely smoothly on this. Something weird, the Moto X scores higher in graphic benchmarks than other devices with similar systems. It scores higher than the Optimus G, which has the quad core version of the S4 Pro, and it scores higher than the Xperia SP which has the exact same dual core S4 Pro the Moto X has; all having the same resolution displays.

Why not? This isn't their flagship device. It's supposed to be mid ranged. It still have the S4 Pro with Adreno 320, so it will be a top performer.

Sucks for the Canadians who are OBLIGATED to sign with ROGERS in order to get this phone; hopefully they'll be able to get an unlocked U.S. version to run on other Canadian wireless providers.
