So, if kit Kat or android 4.4 support low end devices or low hardware specs, Then will it get updates????

Probably not. Companies aren't going to go back & update their entire catalog of devices from years back. That would take a lot of time & effort just to update a bunch of phones & tablets that are barely in use anymore. If 4.4 truly has support for low end devices, what it might mean is that you will see all new devices after the OS is released using that version of the firmware. That opposed to how a lot of low end devices now still debut with 4.0 or 4.1.

I hope so but not sure if the build will be supported by the phone (the s4 was created for s2 users like us) I still have my s2 still working very well with 4.1.2 from Kies

Best bet is a custom ROM on your s2. You could get on android 4.3 in a few hours if you really tried.

It is a probability as the update depends on whether samsung will be willing to work the update on the S2 TW skin. Also, it might be more difficult if your S2 is carrier branded.

Sony always late for every software update. Update means upgrade ur device to newer model, most of their product. That's why sony loose to samsung even they had better build quality of everything than samsung. Sony great while sucks. Still, I luv sony.

since play services was introduced and googles core apps are updated via the play store imo updates has been a non issue as you dont need to necessarily be on the latest update to get new features as i said most of the core aspects are all now updated outside the os update and are handled individually and i suspect with kitkat and onward more and more core features will be updated via play services and play store and os updates will be left for bug fixes or hardware specific updates.

For the everyday users, I think the enhancements are limited and users who have some sort of bug with their specific device will be the majority of people excited about this release.
